Went with stonewash and black G-10. I don’t think I’ve seen that combo mentioned yet, which surprises me a bit.

Yo.....What happened to "Life is Short Buy the Damn Knife"....AMEN!! You should never buy something that will make you miserable. Only buy items will keep you smiling!
Jeepin's been here probably longer than me. I can't speak for him, but I think it goes back to remembering the prices on models long past, like the FBMLE. Think about every time you heard your parents when they were surprised by a price that you don't react over when growing up lolThen don't buy it. We have no idea what production costs actually are for Busse so you'll never actually know what it 'should' cost.
That only holds true when the knife makes your heart skip a beat or two...Yo.....What happened to "Life is Short Buy the Damn Knife"....![]()
Thanks for clearing that up, Garth. The satin finish on these is hand applied satin finish.
Very time consuming but well worth it to me. I just like shiny things I guess. The satin finished blades will not have machine marks.
Hello, question for you Robocarullo.
Sounds like you like the g10 handle option there.
Can you compare using g10 vs micarta in a big knife ? I've only had micarta. The general concesus is micarta is better on a user, but wanted your thoughts. Thx!
Same.Went with stonewash and black G-10. I don’t think I’ve seen that combo mentioned yet, which surprises me a bit.
2 weeks. But no telling 2 weeks from whatI wonder how soon these knives will ship ???
One of these in satin would have been the perfect opportunity to bring back black paper micarta.
My impression: not a chance. Thickness, length, and blade height will all exceed what the Spec Ops sheath can handle. It'll have a black or brown leather sheath for me I think. I ordered a black blade with black n tan G10. Opinions?
The only handle material Ive ever noticed to be susceptible to stupidity is black paper. Have had multiple pieces with flaws/chips in it.Agreed. I sorely miss the older linen and black paper micarta from Busse.
