The Sardinian connection.

Signor Sechi certainly does not make things easy. He made two resolzas with sanguinato horn and allowed me to choose which one I wanted. I'm still not sure I made the right decision, but I chose this knife due to its lines. I like the curve of its handle.

Good choice regardless!!

I thought you might like a few photos I took in Nuoro and other places to give some context.
Google translates "Mascalzone Sardo" as; "Sardinian Rascal!!"
Ha Ha!!
Nice pics, Johnny. Wonderful trip you had!!

Thats the correct translation,Nuoro used to be a kidnap and cut your ears of notorious area.

I didnt know that when I went,he and his wife where friendly to me but I wouldnt want to cross them 😁

Thanks Steve. I'm very taken with it.

As this is my first resolza, I chose to go the traditional route. Though smaller knives are increasing in popularity, I wanted something a Sardinian man would be proud to carry. The blade is 11cm of XC75 carbon steel. OAL is 23cm. Larger than I usually go with for a folding knife, but then again I'm not often inclined to carry a friction folder.
