We have one great show going on this SSPS. Thanks to all who share pictures of their collection or saying something about the knife or knives that you like. Don't forget to hit the like button. Just to let everyone know that you enjoy their pictures and collection. There is still Lots of time for all of you guys to share pictures. Everyone is welcome. But we only share buck knives made by buck. Now to enjoy the show and watch a little football later.

Took a 90 mile drive over to Mt Vernon Illinois yesterday for the annual Jefferson County Knife Club show. Here is one of the items that followed me home, a model 185 BuckMaster LT. Same blade as the 184 BuckMaster but with a skeletonized rubber coated handle. 6,000 of these were made from 1986-1989. Not my normal cup of tea but I drove all that way with money burning a hole in my pocket and the price was right. It was a consignment item with a dealer who said the seller has the box somewhere. Hopefully he will find it by the next time I see the dealer at a knife show in January. I offered to come up with a little more $$$ as an incentive to find it... ;o)

Here are a few other things I came home with yesterday, these plus a few empty sheaths not shown.
Best knife I saw yesterday was a late 1940's Lucite 105. Wish I had a camera. The ask was $2,000, my unchecked reflex was to laugh, should have been more polite.
No recovering from that.
