The Scent Of A WalMart Oil Change

I thought that registered users could have either an avatar or a sig but not both.

It's in the "User CP" section of BF. I don't know what screen settings you have to view BF, but there is a bar at the top of each page that lists options like User CP, FAQ, Members list, Calendar, etc. Look in the User CP section.

I told you I'm a dummy. I already looked there and couldn't find it. I'll try again.

thanks

munk--the feature is no longer available for registered users, and the option doesn't show up in your user CP. You have to be a member for signatures.

Thank you, Josh. There is nothing worse than staring at a computer generated menu to make me feel stupid, especially if what I'm looking for doesn't exist.

Semper - if I remember right the saying went thisaway:

" There ain't much that a man can't fix, with enough money and a Thirty-OughtSix! "

Nowadays, there'd either be a disclaimer underneath the saying ( don't do this at home kids ), or it'd be sponsored by your friendly local lawyer's office.

blew the roof off the goat barn with a whole box of shells...

my thread had degenerated into this

Rusty finally shows, and says; there aint much a man can't fix, with enough money and a thirty ought six.

Time for an extra capacity mag. Where's Bruise?

Well, the military did load the 308 to the same bullet/same velocity as the 30-06. Where's Kis? - he was looking for the best price on 7.62x51 ( 308 Win ), on another forum I frequent. Case of 308 and a dozen extra FAL mags and I'm pretty much set.

Munk - you wanted me to post: You didn't say my mind had to be present at the time I posted. ( It went to lunch today and never came back. I was asleep at the time so I didn't notice it. )

Actually, munk, that was RE-generated the thread, not DE-generated.

Trust me, you'll thank me for it someday! :D :D :D

Did I tell you I wanted you to post? My memory's pretty scattered. Besides, with or without asking, I always want you to post, so that's a no brainer for two no-brains.

Now, where were we?

munk

up the creek. Are there any maps in the glovebox that aren't blueprints or topo's?

munk

Rusty?

Best price I have found is .19 per round of ball, shipped, for quantity of 320 rounds. Australian Military.

There is some Portuguese .308 available for about the same price...in lots of 1,000 rounds. I didn't check the specific shipping costs.

Let me know if you need more info.

Kis

One thing about this forum, you ask a question, and you get an answer.

The question you ask and the answer you get don't necessarily have anything to do with each other, but that's life.

Thanks, Kis. :D :D :D

Kismet? I'd appreciate any head's up for 7.62X39 or 51

Jeeze! I just remembered one of the cheapest ammo suppliers in the US is in AZ and I'll be driving through AZ this summer. Trouble is, I've forgotten the companiy's name. I think it's outside of Prescott.

I could return to Montana loaded for bear.
Or course, in all probability, I'll leave Montana the same way.

J&G Sales sometimes has ammo cheap, and there's a place in Georgia I'm going to rememember in a bit that is always rock bottom. But Cheaperthan dirt? When you guys gonna learn cheaper than dirt isn't? (but they are on select items like backpacks)
