The Schrade SCHA5

its just a question that i needed before buying this knife
and im not just collecting chinese made schrades or smith and wesson (even though i have some but only in black and spring assisted and chinese made)
i also have chris reeves, spyderco's, sanrenmu, ganzo, microtech and benchmades
and yes i never use my knives i only put them on display
hence the reason why i also buy chinese made taylor brand knives because some of them look just so modern, cool and sometimes futuristic (schrade scha3Bs example)

Enjoy your knives, QiQi - and post pictures for us to see them. We are all knife collectors or users in some way, and pictures are always welcome.

As Mr. Codger said, you could use wax to allow you to balance knives on their spine that might not otherwise balance.

My GUESS is, without owning that knife, is that yes, it would be thick enough you could balance it on the spine side; I don't believe I have one modern folder that will not balance this way.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Hi
for the people who has the schrade SCHA5
i wanted to ask if the knife could also stand on his belly
like this:

or does it falls on its side?
thanks in advance

Just tried it, works.
It falls on side when the surface shakes, like when you punch the surface where it is standing.
It is also pretty difficoult to balance, specially on a lacqered surface.

Edit: balancing on glass works really well and looks quite cool https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By02LXEmSmmbajdrb3R0THBkUkE/view?usp=drivesdk
