Yowza! I have three on the way myself, meaning that my credit card received a healthy ding last week.
 
BTW, one of the three that I am expecting has the same blade finish as yours, but the handles are Green Linen Micarta.

That is the green linen. Really dark, and not what I expected. :eek:

Really, not quite sure yet. I figure she may become a rope cutter here at work, but I wish I had gone with some serrations. Actually, I wasn't sure if I'd like it, so I only ordered the one. Wish I had grabbed a satin/serrated/green linen now.
 
Same here. I thought it'd be lighter, like in the original pic on the website. I'm hoping it's just oil or something, since there were a few oil spots on the packing paper. Either way, it's a nice knife. Very light!
 
Thanks for the pic, I am getting one with Black G10 and serrations with the same finish.
 
Can't wait got dinged on cc last week .dc/ser/green on the way .will post pic when it arrives .
 
man... if you cut off the corner made by the choil and have it just curve up to the gaurd, that would make an AWESOME looking knife... HHHMMMMMmmmmm....

I actually like the darker green linen. I find myself oiling my CG FBM with the green linen handles. :thumbup:
 
I'm thinking it was just some oil on the handles. It seems to be lightening up a bit since I've been handling it. I may go rinse it as Gimmejr suggested and see how it looks. I'll post some more pics if it changes.
 
Looks way better now. Wish I could get a better pic. This doesn't show how much of a difference there is, but WOW! I love this combo!:thumbup:
