The Scrofas are coming! The Scrofas are coming!

Hmmm, should I have ordered one:confused

I just can't warm up to that blade style. That prob means I'll be looking for one on the exchange in a week or so:o

How thick are these? .170 ?

I left mine at home, but they're pretty thin.

My postman doesn't come until ~5 Pacific so the jury's still out on my Scrofas....but I'm hopin'!

That what mine measures just in front of the scales. It starts narrowing, of course, as you move down the spine toward the tip.

My measurement is in: .178 just in front of the scales, narrowing down to the tip.

Aaaaahhhh... there was joy in Whoville today!! Thanks, guys.

Who's makin sheaths for these?

I may have to resort to extreme measure when mine shows up, I have a fresh roll of Gorilla tape and some old cardboard, please stop me.

Go for it, Nate! Anything to start using it. This is definitely one of the new users!

If mine arrives on Friday I may just slap something together during one my graveyard shifts over the weekend. Should I use elmers glue or staples to hold the layers together?

I think the Gorilla tape will give it a nice finish.

Duct tape held my world together in my late teens / early-mid twenties with constant whitewater kayaking.

Now that my day to day world is broadcast, this keeps it all together!

My Sus Scrofa arrived!

A tad smaller than I expected but it does feel nice in the hand. I like it.

It's hard to stop an avalanche once it starts snowballing. :D

Well, I was concerned... Really kinda worried that I wouldn't like these Sus Scrofa's... Seems that my worries were unfounded as they are, to me, better in person than in picture. I'm glad that I ordered some, because this is a knife that I'll use and carry... Looks like a knife used for work, rather than defensive reasons, and for that I'll be less fearful of police confiscation should an officer want to see it... I've always wondered that if a police officer in one of the many jurisdictions across the Philadelphia metro area, or ANY metro area, were to see a LrMr... and ask what it was called... (Uh, it's a Leaner Meaner Street, sir. ... LOL) Would that be the last time one us would ever see their knife??? This is more utilitarian, both in design & appearance, and for all intents & purposes more suitable for daily civilian carry in urban areas... Just my opinion for where I live, anyway.

In short, a nice knife design for a "working class" blade & I can hardly wait to use it! If this was to be measured in a baseball batting average, Jerry... BOSS... I'd say that you're batting:
