The secret GAW

Ok so based on David's last hint in post #162, I saw where he said "go back to 4". I already had a hunch that "50" was referring to a page number but I didn't know which thread. So I went to the Traditional main page and clicked the"4" on the very bottom of the page and that's where I found his "Lockback" thread which low and behold had 49 pages. So I knew if I could roll that over to page 50 I would win. So I searched for all the knives I had posted in that lockback thread and saved all the pics to my phone. I then started posting them one at a time. I posted 11 knives and one "ham sandwich" and it still hadn't changed over! o_O I then noticed that Joshua JTB_5 JTB_5 was doing the same thing only in the wrong thread so I drop him a hint that he was on the right track LoL. I didn't want to win by just posting words instead of knife pics and that's when I came up with the idea for using a random number generator to choose someone from this original thread and post #120 was the winner... solphilos solphilos :) Ironically solphilos had just posted a lockback picture on page 50 too he he and @Kiteman72 missed out by one post :( It was fast and furious there for a while, good thing I watch "Monk" a lot and solved the puzzle :D

Congrats to veitsi_poika veitsi_poika Kevin for his ingenuity and generosity, and to solphilos solphilos for his win! ;):cool::thumbsup::cool: I'm looking forward to seeing the mysterious prize that nobody knew what it was! :D
Even if I had been lucky enough to figure out what was going on, I don't think I have enough lockbacks that I could have forced a win! :rolleyes:

Not only was I in the wrong thread, but I was also posting the wrong kind of pictures for the thread (pile side instead of piles of knives). Boy, was I off.
