The sharpest of the sharp?

The sharpest folder I've ever seen: Spyderco ZDP Delica. The sharpest fixed blade I own is my Boye Cobalt Diver. The original sheath comes with a brass liner which I thought was overkill at first. Then on a backpacking trip it cut through a plain nylon sheath that I was so sure would secure it. My dumb.

I'd have to say my new SE Dodo was the sharpest. I could catch and cut hairs well above the skin of my arm.

The sharpest blade I have ever gotten out of the box was a Microtech Tachyon, so sharp it was scary

I think Spyderco and Kershaw are both contenders for the sharpest blade. Any SAK I've purchased needed work. I'm not to crazy about the sharpening job on Kershaws, the blade tapers down and then it has a 45 degree angle grinded into it for the edge. I perfer the edge to follow the taper of the blade, I know it makes the edge weaker, but you get a finer edge on it. That being said, when I got my kershaw out of the box I could shave arm hairs like nothing with it.

The sharpest knife I had ever recieved would have to be either the Spyderco Caly 3 or BG-42 CF Military.
