Too bad i didnt plan the lobotomy around the gathering... We could of made it a group event!! :eek:

On to a different topic...

The wife's aunt drinks jonny walker black.... so i was taking shots of it... I dont like it... I just didnt want to be rude. She kept pouring me doubles. This woman can drink. After we took like 4 doubles a piece in the same hour she poured me a triple, took her triple, sat the shot glass down, i grabbed her shot glass pretended to be drinking out of it, sat it down, and then said "hey, you didnt take your shot yet" this is just in like a 30 second time span.. She says "Oh $h!t". grabs it and pounds it back.. Everyone cracked up because she was the only one who didnt see what i did and even i thought she was going to call me out on it. Funny stuff.

In other news, a Beckerhead asked me for my shipping address a week ago and wouldn't say why. I'm scared half to death waiting for a crate of explosive glitter or a bag of rubber dicks to show up... :eek: :confused:

Hmmm I probably shouldn't have said that... if he wasn't thinking of doing that, he is now. :/
 
Hope all goes well, WW! Maybe while you're there you could get surgery on your stuffed bunny. :D

Beckerheads have been known to mail things such as live rattlesnakes, vacuum-sealed turds, random knives, and the occasional mess kit. (Sometimes even stoves, but Gunyon gets most of those.)
 
Apparently I was overserved a bit last night. Some worthwhile information: I now know the potato sticks from a 12 year old MRE are still quite good. :thumbup:

Yeah I know, some brute of a heathen decided to mail me one recently. He swore it was just a good deed and not in any way shape or form a way of "paying me back" or anything like that. Erik knows what happens when that happens. I would mail you a stripper if I wasn't worried you would eat it.

Speaking of stripper, I'm thinking about stripping my Cam 2 today. Bought some stripper last night, may as well. Trying to think what I wanna do with the stripped blade, blue, patina, etc.
 
I want you all to know that I just filed a change-of-address form, directing all my mail to Derek's house.

There was a bluing process I saw back in the day for axes. Involved a bunch of boiling and some such. It turned out some really interesting results as memory serves.

EDIT: Rust bluing. Found the article over on BCUSA.

Did think about that, as I was wanting a darker finish. Although parkerizing would be better, a dark vinegar patina would be cheaper. I've already purchased some nice looking scales from tommythewho. A leather sheath is next. I saw a maker on the bay, that makes a nice looking sheath for a decent price. Not wanting to spend tons on this project.

Anybody Know how long after you get your email notification, does your paid membership run out?
