Trade that is significantly larger than I was picturing! I was thinking it was like a foot and a half across... That is HUGE! I like it. It would take FOREVER to cool off though. So that would SUCK to have to move.

When you hook onto a fish that big in a little boat like that does it drag you all over the water??
 
I wish it was "time". Still waiting for ice-out here, and betting on if people will get their bobhouses off the lake before then. I'm still trudging through snowpack and maple syrupin'! I like the Aquanaut; it's very similar in design to my Current Designs Gulfstream.

Yep - and that's part of the fun! Just hope you don't get drug too far from your anchor and have to paddle back far away from where they are biting. But, even if you do, it's still worth it.

I know. I think it's a "let it cool overnight" thing. The trigger has been pulled however. I discussed some design changes with E tonight and I think it will make an appearance at the gathering. Pancakes could happen.

Pancakes large enough to feed EVERYONE with one!

You could probably fashion up some kind of heat sink to help cool it off without "quenching" it.

TSA seems to be zipping right along with my hiring process. I'm going to have to start dragging my feet in getting back to them so I have time to find out about the dam jobs in Oregon. I just put in an application for another dam trainee position in Umatilla, Oregon which is basically where I moved from three years ago. It's only an hour's drive from my hometown and my parents and friends.

Well it doesn't work that way. When the feds have a job opening they list it online, usually usajobs.gov, individual agencies have their own websites too but almost everything gets listed on usajobs. Then you submit your application online and there's usually a lot of rigamaroll and waiting, 6 to 8 months from submitting your application to your first day on the job is not uncommon, at least not in the places and fields I work in. I applied with the TSA about 4 years ago and in 4 months I didn't get as far as I have in the process as I have in the last 4 days.

It really is a lot of fun. That particular kayak is easy to get used to. It's very stable and you've really got to work hard to get it to tip all the way over. I've stood up in it before, and I certainly don't have a low center of gravity or super great balance. Getting back down is a whole other challenge.
 
New comedy series called "Weird Loners"

Its a good idea for a show, and its cracking me up!!!


Now if only i could get a TV channel to turn my idea about "4 mean old, penny-pinching, single women living together and causing trouble in the world" into a series.... id be golden!! Get it golden?? HA!

I tried to submit my idea for a show to this online company that handles that sort of thing... I have ideas for suggested actresses, ideas/plots for different episodes and all.... But they wanted me to pay over 100 bucks.... it may of been over 200, i know i seen a price and RAN FAST!!!.... Granted they said they would pitch the idea to multiple places/networks.... But yea ill pass LMAO

Maybe later in life ill try and write a funny book.... It would be full of misspelled words and bad grammar, and would have more exclamation marks and ellipses than any book ever... But maybe that would add to its fun HAHAHAHA!!!!!
