Exactly... close enough to town to make a quick beer run or have the fire dept/ambulance show up in time if something terrible happens, but far enough out that you have privacy and room to shoot guns and whatnot. :thumbup:

Ethan's place (which is awesome) is up for sale, but I'm 100% sure I can't afford it :(

Coffee
Head to work
Meet with idiot: idiot to "teach" me about new software and business protocol, about which idiot is clueless.
Laugh after idiot leaves (idiot a product of the Peter Principle)
Lunch: bitch about idiot
Statistically analyze old data and try to best fit with new data
Go home
Watch movie/ read about guns and knives

Neko has become addicted to playing fetch. He never wants to stop. He keeps bringing me his ball and dropping it by my foot. If i dont throw it fast enough he picks the ball up and drops it right on my foot. then if i dont throw it in time he bites my leg LMAO

He will bring back damn near anything i throw..... Balls, shoes, sticks, kids toys... pretty much anything he can carry. The only problem is explaining to Neko the game is over LOL

I had this thought yesterday, I was watering my garden and I was thinking, in China does everything says "made in the USA"?

If everyone pitched in and bought it together then it could be "Becker Camp"

Kind of like a timeshare. But it could be open all year round to all the "investors"

And then gatherings could still be done the same as always.

I am fairly sure that Beans are a legume and sunflower seeds are actually the seeds of a plant and not actually a fruit.

I'm sure I can't afford it, but I'm also sure I can't stand living that close to Benton's... I would have so much bacon they'd have to ban me from the store.

I'm pretty sure there everything says "Made in Zimbabwe"... That seems like it would be about even keel. China is to America as Africa is to China.

I guess I will never see camp becker... I would kick down some duckets.. I'm pretty sure it would pay out over time, we could rent it out to bushcrafting groups and stuff.
 
Wouldn't the dish heat it up for you also? I'm thinking it would be pretty awesome, just fill up the dish, then let it heat it up, and tip the dish to serve on the plates...

I just copied and pasted from another site....These are just copied and pasted as well.

A legume is a plant in the family Fabaceae, or the fruit or seed of such a plant.

The sunflower seed is the fruit of the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). The term "sunflower seed" is actually a misnomer when applied to the seed in its pericarp (hull). Botanically speaking, it is more properly referred to as an achene. When dehulled, the edible remainder is called the sunflower kernel or heart.

That's a nice thought, but it's hard enough to organize a passaround... can you imagine the insane hassles involved in getting several people together to purchase and manage a property worth $$$$$? :eek:

Guess I should start buying lottery tickets...

indeed, the dish could be taken out of tracking mode and we could warm dinner with the transmitter! people get itchy when you get between them and their internet addiction, tho... and the video would stop streaming until dinner time. Hmmm....

Ever since I have been into KA-BARs, Becker knives, the Becker forum, et al & etc, and heard of the gathering I have always wanted to attend. Primarily to meet Ethan, thank him, shoot the breeze and tip a few with some of you fine folks, and play with knives. Even though I have no physical attachment to the place my reaction to hearing about the ranch selling was similar to the reaction I would give if I found out they were selling the family farm... Or Disney World... Lol Oh well, the show must go on yah know?
