Thanks for all the nice reply's my friends. Appreciate it.

most digital cameras can connect directly to a computer via USB cable -- which you may have handy for charging your cell phone and if not, those cost a lot less than $60.
good luck.

Wow. I am so used to using my external card reader I didn't think of that. Thank you.

I just dont understand why the camera can see whats on the SD card but my computer cant. But if hooking it up directly with a USB cable does not work then I would probably be wasting my time and money getting the wifi adapter.

Beckers: Beckerhead B4 user, BK5 mint, BK9 user, Beckerhead BK10 user, FPR BK16 user. Plus green scales I'll never use.

KA-BAR: Large Heavy Bowie user, Warthog user, Snody Snakecharmer mint

Misc: Snody kit knife mint, Rat 3 user, Fletcher gen 1 Pocket Kilo user

So, I LOVE all these and it hurts to contemplate letting them go. But I've got other knives that fill these categories that I like more, and it seems criminal for all this fine steel to sit in the knife box collecting dust. They've been untouched for years and it just isn't right.

Must resist Pocket Kilo! That sucks, but good luck on a quick sale!

at least they offer the ability to do a bulk download of all your images to your pc.

For now.....,

apparently if you upload photos individually from PB it works OK - but if you try to upload 3 or more it hangs.

I think your's is screwed up too, Cbear.

That knife looks like a flower.
It actually IS a flower. From the trip to India. I have a few pictures but didn't really have anywhere to post them since technically there is no Becker content... Had a carry on only bag so no knives for 2 weeks. Except I bought a Muela knife while I was over there for about $8.

Was at the harness races in Goshen NY today Beer was flowing and the horses were running fast.Good times. Climbing Breakneck ridge NY in the morning. 1200 feet 5.9 miles up to the fire tower and then back down. Crappy time for photobucket O crap to screw eith me. I'll take my pictures along the climb and post up when I get a real hosting site.

I am thinking about paying the $19 a year for Imageshack.
I dont like to host pictures on bladeforums because so many people with free accounts cant see them.

another service i highly recommened is smugmug.com

i can refer people for a discount (and i get one too ;>)

been using it since this forum existed and it's stable, and geek friendly.

yeah, it costs money. for me, it's worth it.

I've been paying Photobucket for years now. I reached the free limit a long time ago. I think I pay $40 per year, to host the gazillion photos I have across the forums that I frequent, but, mainly here.

Thine snarkage be at low levels.

I cant remember if I posted my Spyderco Ronin 2 here before but it made a good test. I shortened the blade to just under 3.5 inches so I can legaly conceal it here in CO.

I havent decided for sure who I am going to go with but im definitly going to start paying for my photo host. My Colonial knife thread in traditionals is going to be hard to fix.

it doesn't feel closed.
although I was thinking to myself this morning - this snark thread has been open since April - I wonder when Bladite is going to close it?
