WHOA. Been a long time brother. Good to see you back, and I hope you're still making those awesome knives.

Roooob!!
Woody!!

Spent the morning at the range with some very nice hardware. Made my noise already, so I'm gonna pass on the fireworks.

flickr sucks.

On a side note, just got back from watching the local firework display. Always enjoy that.

Well, considering my 30-mile ride yesterday I'm surprisingly feeling pretty good, only a slight sunburn on the knees and a bit of a whole-body soreness but that should go away.

Yeah, I just don't see why Imgur isn't the obvious choice for everybody, it's so easy to use.
Imgur is ok, but it doesn't have very good sorting, imo. I guess thats why I like Photobucket. Create a main folder, then create sub folders.

I meant if Photobucket wasn't an option for someone, then the obvious choice seems to be Imgur. Unless you intend to pay for the service, and most people using Photobucket aren't paying so they'd go looking for a free site anyway.

Current paying customers of PhotoBucket are going to be fine until their current subscription runs out, I think. At that point they will attempt to apply their ridiculous $399 a year fee in order for folks to continue sharing their images on forums and such. Right now, folks who didn't have a paid subscription at the time of PhotoBucket's applied changes got screwed and they are slowly but surely having all their content locked.

I understand that Imgur may have its shortcomings but, in the end, I have yet to find an image hosting platform to compare, especially when you consider that they offer their services for free.

I wouldn't be surprised if PhotoBucket tanks after the shenanigans they just pulled. They pissed off an enormous number of people by arbitrarily locking out their content and demanding an absurd fee to free it up. Ransomware? Sure sounds like it to me.

I have a feeling after they get very few purchases of their exorbitantly expensive 3rd-party option they'll come out and say that it was all a mistake and it should have been 39.99/year instead and someone entered the price wrong, refund those who actually purchased it and reap in the dough as so, so many of the folks with images on Photobucket realize that $40 a year is reasonable enough to pay for it and are just thankful they can share their photos again.

Looks like Photobucket is still working for me. I have to copy the "direct" link and then insert it into the photo icon here on the forum.
