Good looking Sword Crim, not too far off from what your making now.
I prefer a wasp waisted sword, but this one and your latest WIP might change my mind.

Yeah, the wasp waisted ones are hard to do freehand. I like the looks (Kris Celtic Sword, for instance), but getting it symmetrical has been tough. At some point I'll do a wasp-waisted gladius with the same handle design as my current WIP. Next step is probably a 3V straight gladius, and maybe a damascus one too :)

Built some shelves in my shed yesterday. Went out there today and made some hangers to get my spare siding, wood, etc off the floor. It's amazing the shit you accumulate. Anywhos, just about got her ready to bring my benches and weights over. Yee haw...

My nephew brought me a present...it was empty though.....now it has Beam. Life is good.

dang that flask is awesome. Looks like it should have a mustache though. Appears to be from the 70s.....

Welp, I figured out the Fisk method of sharpening. Was slicing paper for fun and sliced the first layer of skin off my fingertip; Without even feeling it!

I like stropping. I find it to be therapeutic. Just started my nessmuk. This is just after about 10-15 minutes.

I don't wanna mess with your therapy, but...
if you put a decent edge on it with a stone you'll only need to strop it a half a dozen times per side.

It already shaved, I was just messing around polishing it a little. Got my new strop and 4 different compounds in today. I had a homemade strop, but the leather wasn't too god.

BF member jeepin was able to snag one of those Fiskars X15's at his local Sears by having them do the price matching that they offer. All that was required was the following info for my store where they have those axes at those prices.

Sears at Crossroads Mall in Beckley, WV

PH: (304) 254-2000

And with that info he was able to obtain the axe at that price. My local store only had two left, so I figured you guys might want to give it a shot before they were gone.
