I used to have a sharpfinger when I was a teenager. My dad bought it for me. I let a "friend" borrow it once, and he and his family moved away. Never saw it again.

Theme park yesterday, ALL day. Couple failed attempts at iced coffee, one tank of gas insufficient. Came back for my "reward" from the woman for me dealing with the public all day and the baby woke up right before I became the winner. FTW, I gotta burn and cut something today!

Murph,
Just practice your "winning" faster. I started by racing the microwave popcorn, then moved up to a commercial break.

I shudder to think of that being the necessity once kids arrive. Part of me is still thankful I don't have kids yet, and part of me wants to start passing some genes on.

That looks pretty cool BE...I like the Sharpfingers, I have used the ''old'' ones a lot, between my Dad and brothers there are 3 or 4 around. My oldest brother has the huge one too, and my cousin has the medium one. I prefer the small version.

Couldn't help but notice the cartridges.... .270 hells yeah! My favorite deer caliber.

Off from work today,
deciding between fishing this dusk or playing with steel this afternoon.
perhaps a little of each?

In on page 1 !!!!!

270 Win ROCKS THE HOUSE!!!!!! That's what's gonna fill my buck tag this fall. It's the only deer rifle I will ever need. I've got a load fine tuned to my rifle and it's a deer harvesting machine! And, this "Sharpfinger" is similar to the small ones. This one is from Keith Willis and it truely is a thing of 1095 goodness. Really, the pics don't even come close to holding the knife in your hand.

Well, maybe my situation isn't so dire. Y'all that can't find a "outlet" for your release are in a bit worse shape.

Rem700 ADL in .270Win

Was my first gun I bought new, lots of hard work in a sawmill to get it....I love the thing, I have used most of the major deer calibers...and not one has made me swap. The only other caliber that I would possibly switch to is the .280Rem

If I pull the trigger on that rifle, something dies. 130 grains of Core-Lockt is just plain poison for critters lol

well, I do use a Winchester thutty-thutty for brush hunting, no scope....I despise scopes on a lever gun. But that's just me :D

Yep!!!
No argument from me. I have an old Ruger Mark II with an old Nikon scope. I have no need for another rifle combo. NOTE: "need" is the key word. When I move back to Idaho, I'm thinking I might "need" a 300 Win Mag for Elk and Moose.

In before the lock. Just sayin'...

Time for someone to come up with a new snark.

I really like 6.5x55. In my testing an average load penetrates as deep as .30-06, with about 3/4 the recoil. It is also a very accurate round.

one of these days, "in before the snark" is going to get someone in trouble. probably me ;)
