I lived in unincorporated Ft. Lauderdale and worked in Miami from 89 to 92. They had just passed concealed carry before I got there, an the NYC transplants were all up in it thinking the world would come to an end. Conversely my parents lived on the west coast on Pine Island, and carry, gun shows and public shooting ranges is all that my dad and I did when I visited. Has this all changed? Dad has been gone since 2005.
