My two cents--

My Lightfoot 460 Mag tanto bit me the other night. As I pulled it from my pocket to open a box (I work 3rd shift stocking at Kohls) one of the thumb studs caught on my pocket edge and exposed the tip. Well, my middle finger somehow got in the way while drawing and ZAP!

Egads, I keep my knives sharp! Good thing that didn't happen with my CQC6, I might've had appendages lying on the floor....

Why yes officer, I DO use that to open my mail...

I suggest the use of a nylon sheath. This not only minimizes the scuffing of the Ti scales, but will absolutely prevent you from cutting yourself when your knife is in your pocket. The ones that AZCK carry are really high quality, and can be carried horizontally or vertically, if you put them on your belt. A further advantage is the protection of the knife from pocket lint.

Too much trouble for you? Well, OK, but just remember the rule of the ER doc: the definition of a minor hand laceration is one on someone else's hand! Walt
