I recently ordered and received this knife from Andrew Demko. Based on the American Lawman .1 TI liners, TI backspacer, textured CF scales, hardened 440C rocker bar and .25 pivot, hardened 416 rocker pivot and blade stop pin, and 3.75 long and .2 thick CPM 154 Blade. Considering the heft of the build the knife is fairly light at about 10 OZ And the custom Triad lock is amazing with no blade play and very smooth opening. Andrew estimates it would hold 600 lbs in a weight hang. This isn't really a review quite yet but more showing off my new favorite blade, you guys should look into these, and the production Cold Steel Versions!

Edit: I talked to Andrew again and found out, that the spring powering the lock is titanium, and takes about 14 pounds of pressure to overcome it and unlock the knife.

That thing looks like its built like a tank.

I'm sure it can take a heck of a beating too....nice knife.

I love my XM-18 but there is no doubt that the Super LawMan (My name for it) is the stronger knife

I love it! Now I want one. Thanks a lot. :(

Seriously I love it a lot. Great knife purchase. I'm sure its a super strong folder.

You have a bit of CPM-154CM GOLD in your hand there. I'd love a production run in that steel. Nice score.

I liked it until I saw how the g10 was cut for the lanyard hole. It reminds me of high heeled boots. Why couldn't Demko just drill a hole in the g10? That's beyond me. If I ever got that folder, I'd probably make my own g10 scales just because of that little bit. It's enough to bother me.

Anyway, how does it cut? That folder makes Striders look wimpy. It takes tough to an entirely new level.

EDIT: I love how thick that knife is. It would seem like it fills big paws nicely. How thick is it? My folder is close to 3/4 inch thick. I think a folder that approaches 7/8 to 1 inch in thickness would fill the hand nicely (big hands that is).

Im in love. Man, imagine a toughness test between that and a crusader forge folder. I just told myself no more knives for awhile...now I have to go back on that statement!

Oooh, sounds like a worthy adversary. I guess the OP has to buy another tank knife. :D I actually think the Demko would beat the Crusader, something I never thought would be.

What's the purpose of this hole? Is it just cosmetic or is it a spot for a reinforcement pin, kind of like on the Extrema Ration RAO?

EDIT: Lack of sleep caused me to reply with a worthless reply. Initially, I replied that it was probably a second lanyard hole. Upon closer inspection, that would prevent the knife from opening. I guess it does look like a function similar to the Extrema Ratio knives.
