The Sunday Picture Show... (1-10-2016)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Armand is in California for the next couple weeks working on his late Mothers estate so I was asked to start the show for him.

Lets make him proud of what he has done here for us all by continuing what he has so dedicated his time and energy to for years.

He will be watching how the show goes and will be back in a couple weeks to start the show as usual.

I will start off the show with a Buck 927 Slimline Skinner from the old custom shop with nickel silver hardware and stag handles.

James....thanks for filling in for Armand this week.:thumbup::thumbup:

I missed last week's SPS, but did get to see some of it on my cell phone and enjoyed the little bit I saw.

James and Skyler...those are two beauties you started today's show with.:thumbup::thumbup:

Here are a couple Chairman 110s.
The one in back is a normal 2012 version with Chuck Buck's engraved signature on the pile side cover.
The 2011 110 in front is supposed to be just 1 of 20 Chairman 110s that slipped through without Chuck's engraved signature on the pile side cover.

Thank you, James, good job.
Here's a Photo out of the arcive. The gray corian 110 from the early 80s an his li'l brother for Armand's Greatest Show On Earth. [emoji3]

Nice knives - the two Buck Custom 927 Slimline Skinners are the handsomest skinning blades I believe I've ever seen! I had a good week finding Buck Knives; bought a Buck 118 Personal in nearly mint condition (from 1994) to go afield with my spring turkey hunting gear - it arrived Friday. I also found a very early Bucklite 422 with the 1983 NOAC blade etch in a local pawnshop - this knife was also in unused condition (but missing the nylon sheath). I have a 1987 yellow sawcut Valox handled 303 on the way, should get it for next weeks SPS. I sure had a good Buck week, hope you folks have a good day! OH

I got in my first 100+ mile backpacking trip last week since my heart surgery in April, 2015.
This is the knife that went along for the walk.
It weighs in at 3.7 ounces and clips nicely in my pocket for easy access.:thumbup::thumbup:

Very nice choice Stumps - glad your heart has recovered so well for you too. OH

Here is the youngest of the 927's that have been shown so far today

And the back side of Skylers beauty, that he forgot to show

Great show so far everyone. Thanks to all for posting. Thanks guys for the comments on the 927's. They are very handsome looking indeed.

Mike - Your pearl handled 927 is one fantastic knife. A real beauty.

Here is another Buck 927 stag but with brass fittings.

Good morning and a happy SPS to all.

Here's a Buck that you don't see a lot. This one was found some years ago in the back of an old Buck countertop display and as far as I know I was the first person to open the box after it left the factory.

This Buck 110 came in last week while I was gone.
I bought it just to add to my Buck 110 50th Anniversary collection.
The former owner sent it back to Buck to replace a blade and it received a blade with a 50th Anniversary stamp.
The frame is a forged brass frame from the early 1970's.
I am sure it is the 2nd variation we've found in another thread of the 5th Version/3rd Variation 110s.
Second knife from front in the photos in post #22 of this thread; http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-Found-(Boring-Stuff-to-Non-110-Collectors)-)

Found this 301 Stockman at the gun show yesterday. It was accompanied home by a pair of 110's. This Stockman with grooved bolsters would be the first production by Schrade c.1966/67. Pretty nice shape but does show some light use and sloppy sharpening.

Also found this old 110. BUCK* marked tang, V3-1 c.1967. Someone buffed it so the corners are a bit blended but all in all a nice knife with a full blade. Came naked with no sheath. Loooking thru the drawers it turns out I had another just like it.

Final find from yesterday, a 2-line 110 V4-2, about 1970-72 I guess. Badly tarnished, I attacked it with some Mothers and a cotton cloth while watching TV last night.

Armand it has quit raining now that you have left the state! Please return ASAP. We need you and the wetness!!!
Outstanding of you James and beautiful skinner. Ditto Skyler. WOW. I didn't realize that you owned any 110s Stumps, huh...:)

It took me an entire week to locate my Al Buck Blade 111 Classic 1 of 17 acquired from the BCCI 25th. I will endeavor to have my nurse turn up my oxygen mixture in the future...

The 111 Classic on a bed of white GID 550 paracord material which is on the ready line for tying into hangman (Chris Reeve) lanyards for everyone I can put the bite on.

An ocean goin mammal at the last dam, Bonneville (146 miles from the Pacific Ocean), on the mighty Columbia River. Photo taken from the Washington State side. As he, and it is a he (males fatten to impress females in order to have best chance of mating) surfaces to breath between salmon fishing dives near the fish ladder:

I had done some 110 Build Out pictures a while back, and have decided to start where I left off.
0110BO20-B Brass, Indigo inlays, serrated 420HC, Idaho date code, Black leather sheath ( Can not remember quantity of these)

All though I fatten the Same as the Male Walrus, I do not fish for the salmon the same way:eek::eek:

I have gone back and forth on the 175 lightning series. If I were to list my top 5 carry knives made by Buck, it would definitely make the list. Probably top 3:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:Nice clip, serrated blade most of the time, easy one hand operation:D

As a Buck Collector, it just doesn't have that "collector" knife look to it, and I've never seen one in Ivory or pearl:D

I picked up one for dirt cheap, so in Honor of ITE, the middle one in this set came to me for cheaper than a few Packs of Marlboro's last week, I guess that isn't as cheap as it once was:confused: as Garth would say " too young, to feel this damn old"

I don't have any 175's with nice wildlife pictures on them but I have a few different colored variations.
