This is my first Buck knife, bought when the model 107 Scout first came out in 1976 . Only a handful left the factory in this configuration that year . The knife, shape, style and size had been mfg. for atleast 4yrs. prior in the Empress Trio model 200 and Windsor steak knife set model 206 but never had its own name and model number . Plus, it came with one of Buck's first pouch style, drop-in sheaths . It changed some over the years and was discontinued in 1992 . The blade length is just a 1/16 shy of a 110's but is full tang . Boy, the adventures I've had with this one ... Thanks, Plumber . DM
A few pictures that I happen to have on my desktop now -
First is Jade; second is Carrasite and the third is Saginite Agate.
Man, what a great show, newcomers and old pros all shining bright-plus the tweeners as well-thanks to all.
New addition this week I thought was cool even though I'm not a "small" knife guy. Never saw one of thes before. Buckmates lizard skin 529 with matching wallet.
