This is my first Buck knife, bought when the model 107 Scout first came out in 1976 . Only a handful left the factory in this configuration that year . The knife, shape, style and size had been mfg. for atleast 4yrs. prior in the Empress Trio model 200 and Windsor steak knife set model 206 but never had its own name and model number . Plus, it came with one of Buck's first pouch style, drop-in sheaths . It changed some over the years and was discontinued in 1992 . The blade length is just a 1/16 shy of a 110's but is full tang . Boy, the adventures I've had with this one ... Thanks, Plumber . DM

Thanks David M, for the cool story about your 107... I love anything with stag handles... It's a great little knife for sure... I have a few of them...
But none with Stag handles... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Man, what a great show, newcomers and old pros all shining bright-plus the tweeners as well-thanks to all.

New addition this week I thought was cool even though I'm not a "small" knife guy. Never saw one of thes before. Buckmates lizard skin 529 with matching wallet.

Do you still think micarta is cheap looking jb? Funny how its highly sought after now.

LOL,

Fritzy I am now a Micarta fan. It has taken me a few years to find the 2 micarta 112's I now have. It also took me a few years to find a replacement for the uncomon maroon (1 more to go)Micarta 124 I dumped as a kid.....because it was ugly fake plastic wood (but thats another story).
