The Sunday Picture Show... (1-23-2011)

Another great picture show. JB, quite the family heritage, I believe your great great grandfather had a unique determination in life.
Today, my 119 w/ the mirror polished blade, and solid elephant ivory handle. The only 1 I've seen. That's a 2006 tang stamp....so, it's no Bass Pro smooth bone

JB, Good family history and knife . Scott, I've not seen one of those, very nice . Then the sheaths and the BP 110 are great too . Thanks to all . DM

Tele. I like your Klinkhammers . What sheath came with them . 338, the 186 has 425M steel and that model Buck discontinued in 1987 and brought a different model the 560 . So, not offered long . Nice photos 300 . Great job guys . DM

Thanks David

Great picture show, some really beauties here. Telcontar, that BG-42 Stag 110 is awesome!

I got to go to a knife show here in St.Louis today and managed to acquire a few new Bucks.

First is this 1983 brown bone 503 with the box and papers. The guy sold this to me cheaper than you can get a new 501 so I am stoked about this one.

Then I got this 501 with maroon Micarta

Then the other two I scored were a 303 and a 705 with stag. Any info on these two would be awesome.

All in all I had a great time at my first knife show, got some good deals(I feel) and talked with some real nice guys. Can't wait till next year!

Trev, Your 501 was mfg. sometime between 1977-85, it has a 440C blade and has stainless steel bolsters, liner and lock bar all polished . A classy looking knife . Your 705 is a short run LE . You did well . DM

TonyB, I love your photo progression . Storyteller, I like your 110 stag, 111 (what wood) and 2 dot . Stelth, good shock value photo w/ NObama button and ATS-34 blade . Great show of good knives guys . DM

Three of my knives that my Uncle Wes gave me awhile back. The 903's mastodon handle was done by his buddy Mac Mckinney in May 88.

I've always wanted to display something on the Sunday Picture Show, but, was reluctant. Here's a Buck 301LE, with Desert Ironwood and Mastadon Ivory--my Sunday "go to church" knife.
