Maggie says thank you ;) The 3 pups are 5 days old, and had their dewclaws and tails docked today
Not a fun thing to do, but definately better in the long run for them. Especially if they are going to hunt with their future owners.

The parts are being reconstructed into a new knife. It is in a clamp with epoxy curing. Hopefully tomorrow I can finish the scales and post it in the show :)

By the way....
That S30V Bucklite is freaking awesome! :)

Ahhhhh.... What a great start for this SPS and I am only into Sunday 28 minutes right now. I can't wait to get up in the morning and see new treats to feast my eyes on. Come on guys, bring it on...

For some reason I must have felt the need to stuff my pockets with Buck Knives today, and one on the belt.....
Cargo pants help :)
Everyone does this occasionally right????
I did use 4 of them to cut things, so I figure it isn't unreasonable.....hahaha

A cute little 270 buildout with a ram cutout. I believe the blades were leftover from a dealer knife project.

I was surprised to wake up and see the SPS off to such a great early start.
Thanks Armand for getting it up and running!!

I'm still along the Florida Trail and will try posting an old photo from my iPhone.
This pre-factory 106 doesn't belong to me anymore, but it had an alligator snout which goes with my wildlife photo for the day.

I ran into this little 4 foot bugger yesterday as he was crossing from Okeechobee Lake into a canal.
The ungrateful gator hissed at me the whole time I was photographing him. :)

Starting to think about Turkeys.

Twins!

Wildlife pic, Northern Red Salamander. Interesting little critter. Endangered in Indiana, but I have a good population on my KY land.

This is my first contribution to the SPS. A 110 with a factory mirror polished Damascus blade.

The show really got off to an early start today. Some great pictures today! For my donation this week is the Buck I have owned the longest time. It is a Camillus made Buck 303 that I bought in the BX somewhere. I carried it for many years in a pouch to keep it from sliding out of my pocket.

Great Sunday picture show so far. Lets keep it going everyone. Every Sunday I watch what knives everyone is posting on here and It helps to keep me excited about collecting Buck knives and helps me to know what all is out there. Thanks Armand for doing this for all of us week after week. All of us appreciates everyone's posts and pictures.

Great to see the first timers.

For my addition to this weeks SPS I have one of my favorites in my collection. It is a Buck 925 Ivory Indian Chief Skinner. Made by Leroy Reimer. Buck made these in 3 sizes which this is the largest version measuring 10-1/4" overall. Each of the 3 has a different Indian design scrimshawed in the Mammoth Ivory handle which is beautifully done by Dale Fisk. It has a tapered tang with black fiber spacers, mirror polished blade. Outer Mammoth bark ivory on the backside, thong hole with leather lanyard with an ivory arrow, and nickel silver guard. It is in a wooden glass top Buck box which I had signed by Leroy Reimer on the back when I was at the BCCI 25th. Blade is stamped "BUCK CUSTOM USA" and the serial number "023" just below it.

I would love to get the other 2 in this series if anyone out there knows where I might be able to find them.

Thanks again everyone for your great knives that you post on this great site. Keep them coming.

Here is a picture of a traveling (flying) 110 style knife. The handle is a flea market Bucklite to which a #5X40TPI Helicoil has been added to one side of the pivot. The handle has been counter bored to accept the Stainless cap screw (same size as the Ti model 186).
The coin purse holds the tools and the small parts which I can carry on. I usually put the premium blade and the handle in different checked in suitcases.View attachment 410748View attachment 410749
