ITE love the S30V 186. I presume you have the clip for it.

Here are 4 of the oldest factory 103s from leather spacer barrelnut to BUCK USA. It is fascinating to me to see the difference in grinds that result from being hand made.

The Titaniums are great knives.
I have some of them, but not with such a
good blade you have, ITE.

Best,
Haebbie

Leave them on the front step of the Hermitage and see how long they last.;););)

Under my girlfriend's cover those knives will last for a long time.:D
She very likes those knives in our outdoor adventures.;)
With her fingernails she can scratch an eyes to somebody who want to steal those knives.

In another thread we discuss the apparent rush to sale of discontinued 307s at a certain site. We are hoping for some comment from some of the Camillus guys that were at the factories auction, on the speculation that they are being made somewhere and put on the market site. Some of the history of this threads knife model shares in that Camillus history of events.

Model 334, Large Trapper, Made for SMKWs on Buck/Camillus special order, 1999, for the year 2000 celebrations. Runs of 2000 each were ordered for each model. One in jigged bone and serial numbered and one in black simulated horn. Apparently not ordered numbered but some are. Blades were electroetched - Yesterday-Today- Tomorrow, with Chuck Buck and C.J. Buck signatures. U.S.A. is tamped on the back of the main blade. Special clam-shell case with cardboad slip-cover. This is a big honking folding knife.

The horn scales weren't apparently by record, ordered with serial numbers, but lo and behold this one is. An a even greater chance, it is in sequence with the jigged bone knife. I should have bought a lottery ticket that day. OR, because the jigged bone which is suppose to be numbered is stamped 0649 and the horn is stamped 0648, it may be that both runs were stamped and these are just wild chance close.
334Trapper3.jpg

As more evidence that knives of dubious quality left the Camillus factory in the end, this photo shows the bottom one that was a factory second or put together with left-over parts. Note, no LE scale shield, upside down escutcheon plate, lesser quality scale and brass spring rivet. Please note for your purchase protection, ALL 'seconds' I have seen for sale have brass spring rivets. The investigation continues. 300Bucks

They should offer bone handles like that for the 110 in the Custom Shop.

For everyday use, ITE, I vote for the left sheath. For dress up, I would go with the brown leather one. One great looking knife!

Heabbie, that is a real flock of knives you have there. My favorite would be the second one down with the shiny blade.

Garryale, love that Kalinga. I only have one of the rubber handled ones but think it is a great knife.

Check out a couple of my 118's. On the left is a LE, number0007/1000 with stag handle, and the one on the right has D2 steel and the charcoal Diamondwood.

A Buck 703 I picked up this past week. It's not in too bad of shape for a 24 year old knife. I think it spend a lot of time in a pocket with change or keys with all the little dings in the bolsters. I should have taken a picture, but there must have been 24 years worth of pocket lint in this thing when I got it. It was packed in between all the blades. At first I thought it was corrosion, thankfully it was not.

These are two of my favorite overall knives, both coming from the Buck web special page. My 3 dot 112 Elk Ranger & a 154CM Dym. wood 110. I feel the 110 is well above the norm in the fit & finish dept. as it a locks down like a bank vault.

Here is my first buck knife.

Its a JAG Custom, with filework blade and lock. I swapped out the blade with a custom Grand Leaveitt "Feather" pattern damascus blade and am saving the fileworked buck/jag for later.
