Wal, I sure recon I'm going to buck this purdy 317 trend. Thet thar is a knife ment to be a user an bet chore life I did.



For many years this and my 112 were my only knives. I abused them, but the 112 got the brunt of it. The 317 never got picked for jobs like hammer or can opener.

I turned the blade into a Selector and added a pocket clip and thumb stud. The blade goes into checked baggage, and the handle is carried aboard.

Is it 1/2 a 317? Camillus #6 w/ 317 blade. Recently acquired from Gsea who said it was probably made by a Camillus employee for himself .

and 2 of them are nickel silver---the top knife has a 426 drop point blade...

Here is a nice Nighthawk variation called a 651 Pig Sticker
