The Sunday Picture Show... (12-17-2017) . . . OLD Show Look At The DATE...

Last for this week's show is another pair of big bucks. Got this guy yesterday morning with a muzzle loader at about 40 yards. 190+ pounds on -the-hoof. I was so beat after butchering and packing that I didn't think to get a total meat weight. I'll get a definite count but think the number is around 80-90#.

Today is the last day of black-powder here in KY. I was worried about getting skunked this season since I hadn't been able to spend much time in the woods. The wife tells me to go hunting yesterday rather than going to her Grandma's for a Christmas party. Now we've got our red meat for the year!

The other day I got really frustrated with pocket clips getting loose and reached into my box of Buck Knives I've been collecting and grabbed this one. I think this will be my new edc combo. Buck 110 buildout 154cm and on the belt & Victorinox Farmer in the pocket.

I appreciate all the positive comments. I know I have nothing to be upset about, like MT said, lots of great memories, couldn't have asked for more, but it still hurts and I know everyone has to go through it at one time or another. It definitely helps having all your support.

Here is a buck 110 scrimshaw knife I have but never seen another one like it before. It is engraved Natalie and I believe her last name was Gourlart, base on a previous post I found for BUCKSWAY.

Well, I guess I forgot how to post pictures, Will have to do some figuring:) Also meant to say there are some great pictures of knives today but better pictures of a dog. Sorry for you loss Steelhead.

Lots of great Bucks this Sunday. Thank you all for sharing. Sorry to hear of the lost of your SHB. I've been there more than once. Every time I've lost one of my little buddies I think that not having a pet would spare me the grief but then I'd be denied all the love and affection we shared as well all the funny/happy memories. As hard as the loss can be I wouldn't give up the rest to avoid it. I wish you well.

Well I don't have an ivory 701 like some rich folks I know, but I do have new script stag 701:)

An Ivory, ha, my wife wishes, try 3, after I sold one to another forum member. Rich in money not so much, was really rich in life and still am with my wife(used to always say with my wife and dog). Got a trustee 99 F-150. still have to work over 40 hours a week, so not as rich as I'd like to be, but one day, I'll get there...

Kind of late to the party but I guess better late than ever. Sorry Mike to hear of your fallen partner. Hard to see them go but blessed that they were in your life and you were in theirs.
Do not mourn for the one day that he passed away but relish in the many days that he lived.
Great pictures and great knives everyone. No new pictures today but here is a 119 stag that was made years ago by CJ Buck himself. I really like the handle shape.

My recently acquired Buck 303 single blade. I am not sure if this is factory, factory prototype/special edition, factory worker messing around, or an aftermarket modification.

That's an interesting knife. To me, it looks as though there is something a little different about the butt rivet.
