639 and 619, I don't know which one I prefer for hiking I think the saw teeth are making the difference mostly I have the 639 with me.
Thanks, Armand, for another Greatest Show On Earth[emoji6]

But the 639 without saw teeth is a beautiful knife too. [emoji4][emoji3]

Arrived in the mail on Friday last...my first Buck 110 Folding Hunter.

As I've viewed the many 110s posted in the SPS, the pictures don't really "show" the size and quality of this blade. I had no idea this was such a solid, heavy folding knife! I can now see why in many of the articles I've read about the Buck 110, the words "world-famous" are used. This is a special knife, and I'm glad to have one.:)

And for next Sunday, have a joyful and peaceful Christmas, Everyone!

Great knives so far every one. Today some thing a little different from me. These are a few of the BuckTools from my collection.
360 Black Oxide, 360 Titanium Nitride, 360 Camo, 360 Standard

Great show so far everyone. I do not have any 639's, 119's or 120's in my collection so I guess I won't be entered to win a sweet sheath...... If anyone knows where I can find one in Ivory or pearl that would be awesome:rolleyes::thumbup::thumbup:

I haven't had any trout on the SPS lately so I thought I would show a few today:D:thumbup::thumbup: Right before I ate them:eek::thumbup::thumbup:

I forgot to mention they are wrapped in Bacon:D:D:D

Ready to eat:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Good morning my Buck brothers! Thank you Armand for another SPS!

This came in the mail last week. The BCCI 722 Spitfire. It has s30v steel and it is very light. It's the first 722 I've handled and I'm impressed. Overall, a vey sharp little folder.

Yes, I agree!! I also was impressed when I got my 722 some months ago. A very cool-looking blade -- love the silver and gray combination. And it is a great knife to handle.

Since we're sharing Spitfires right now, I'll add my two. :D I absolutely love the Spitfire. I'm a huge fan. I know it isn't everybody's knife of choice. I see the Spitfire as the perfect EDC knife. The blade is the right length for a wide variety of different tasks. It's extremely thin, pretty comfortable to hold, and crazy light. I can't tell you how many times I have forgotten I had the Spitfire in my pocket. I've even gone looking for it before, only to realize it was still in my pocket. :D

Happy Sunday everyone!
Just one week until Christmas. :)

I took pictures of four different Buck items this morning.
Will post them one at a time...so expect four posts to this thread from me today.

Here is the first.
My wife gave this Buck 124 to me in 1984 for Christmas.
I'm pretty sure she bought it from Bass Pro back then.

I sent it to Heath Stone a few years back for the re-handle in Sambar stag.

Good morning everyone, great show so far! Thank you once again ITE! My Sunday submissions are my latest additions,
My 112 aquired through trade.

My first 119. I have been the caretaker of my son's but haven't owned my own until now.

This next one is an older 2 dot from the late 1970's that I use quite often.
It has a 440C stainless steel blade which I really like.
I added the Sambar stag a few years ago.
The custom sheath is nice because I can just clip it on my belt quickly whenever I want to carry it.

This third post from me today is a special 50th Anniversary 110 that I just added to my 50th Anniversary 110 collection this week....a big thank you to James for letting this one go! :)

No nail nick on this blade.

I also got another 50th Anniversary 110 from James this week that I didn't have.
It was an early one produced on 11-18-2013.
I have a number of those, but the one I received came with a nylon sheath instead of the leather sheath.

All of these early 50th Anniversary 110s were mistakes because Buck's name was not on the knife anywhere.

The last post for me today is not a Buck knife, but a 55 year old Buck sharpening stone.
This is the first stones offered by Buck back in 1961.
This one is in the original box that's in excellent condition and the stone is unused.
This was pre-postal zip code days. :)

Great show guys

Fantastic collection of knives so far today here on Armands SPS.

Thanks Armand for everything you do. It is greatly appreciated by all I am sure.

Here is an odd oldie. I have never seen anything made by Buck with a hook like this one in the blade, They are usually much more traditional in their style.
The blade is nice and thick which makes for a fairly heavy knife but boy is is solid feeling in the hand.

I don't think the blade should be somewhat mirror polished like it is so off to Leroy in the next few days to see what he can do with it. What do you all think?

Anybody know anything at all about the knives made in this era or have seen any others similar to this?

Great stuff today, as usual!

I have a couple of additions this week too.

How about a date code mouse pad... Was a pleasant surprise from a friend.

Also picked up a Thug. My first Hood knife. Rumor is, this is to be discontinued.

I have 2 nephews in the scouts and I've had my eyes peeled for another Cublite and a Scoutlite for some time. A friend led me to a small collection of NIB Bucks. It included a new Cublite and Scoutlite. Unfortunately, it was an all or none deal so I was stuck with a hand full of NIB Bucklites, and a 120. Not that being stuck with them is entirely a bad thing, but I don't really have much interest in the others.
