The Sunday Picture Show... (12-20-2015) ... 110 part 2

Here is an old 1967 3rd/1st that a previous owner rounded off the frame.
It's in great shape, but no use for a collection.
I'm thinking of putting a pocket clip on it and add it to my EDC rotation. It would be my oldest user. :)

Speaking of old Buck 110s…here is a spare 1st/1st that I have.
It just came back from Leroy.
He cleaned it up nicely.:thumbup::thumbup:

Here is a spare 1964 1st/2nd that I bought from Joe Houser several years ago.
The blade etch had worn of, so he had Leroy add "Buck" back to it where it belonged.

Speaking of Leroy…here is one I bought from him at the BCCI 25th Anniversary event in Post Falls, ID a couple years ago.
It is even more beautiful-er in person than these photos show. :)
Very nice black Micarta with finger grooves, nickel silver frame and bolsters, and a satin finish 154CM blade.:thumbup::thumbup:

Wow, 7am and at 30 posts. ITE and stumps have been busy. Poking around the cabinets, I discovered I must have bought a lot more 110's over the years than I thought. Kinda snuck up on me. 99% of them have never been photoed. Will try to get at some new ones this afternoon. I'm going to start the day with a bunch of repeats. Here is one of my earliest 110 photos I ever posted on this forum. A pair of double dashes.

When I took this picture years ago, these 4 knives represented 50% of the 110's in my collection. Front to Back. A 2-Dot 110, 4-dot 110, 1992 2-Dash 110, and a 1996 Grey Titanium 560. The rearmost knife is an Aurum etched Pteranodon.

A few more 110

Many thanks, Armand for another chance to show the Buck beauties.

Another MATC0 110 for the show This knife commemorates MATCO tools first sponsorship of a national NHRA event, the 1997 drag racing SuperNationals. As bonus for MATCO, Dean Skuza's MATCO Tools sponsored nitro funny car won his event. The MATCO emblem looks like a decal but is actually recessed into a cutout on the scale. I found it in the 1997 Special Projects list but no quantity was given.

It pays to stop and look in out of the way places. Found this one in a farm supply store. Came with a 460 sheath.

Been grinding away on a couple knives in the garage this morning, but needed a break.
This is a mirror finish blade with finger groove cocobolo.

The 2009 special projects list shows that 1,000 of these 110's were made for Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Bone handles dyed a nice dark mahogany color with a nickel silver Buck logo inlayed. These were a bargain at $54.95 from SMKW. The SMKW knives that I've seen had plain nickel silver bolsters. I believe the engraved ones were a Christmas special but not sure.

Roger…this may be another version of your 110 in post #37?

Or maybe just not as dark of a dye as yours.

This is a cool Pearl Harbor/USS Arizona knife. Lots of great ones so far:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

This is one of the very few Buck 110s I have with a cutout blade.
I haven't warmed up to these yet. :)
