Thanks, ITE for another SPS. Here are two of my favorite 112s. Preston

jb4570-- Is the 903 Bowie blade longer than a 124? I need to get a 124. I will show the filework.

Preston are your 2 knives Damascus or is the top Chipflint? Both are top -o-the-line 112's !! Beautiful!!

Thanks ITE for continuing a fine tradition with SPS, Those MOP are unbelievable and Auto's ta-boot.
Last week my wife "Ran" to Cooper & Clad for Valentines, yes I have been a good boy.

This is my first upgraded steel or drop point for a 110, so far I really like it.

Thanks, Michael, the top blade is Chipflint. Your 110 Auto's are wonderful, love the file work. Preston

Wow Michael, those two are beautiful knives. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Your question, is the 903 bigger than the 124? The answer is yes.

Here is an old photo one with back lighting (made the pic yellow) and the same photo without back lighting. Not the best photo, it does show the sizes though.

Trusting there is no such thing as a dumb question...
I've not seen these knives before. What model are they?

if there was i would have been guilty of it long ago.:)

buck mayo 172. smaller blade at 3 1/8" if i remember right. always wanted one but that blade is too short for my likes and needs.

wonderful knives all thanks for sharing with us.

Did not realize the 903's came in different sizes. You have the nicest collection. Nothing like this ever shows up at the local shows. I've got to expand my search areas so I can buy better stuff. Does the cap on the spine serve a purpose?

Greetings.

Beautiful collection within cabinets-jb

DeSotoSky It started with my father collecting just 110's and I do continue but have branched out to different fixed blade many Phrobis bayonets and a few newer Alaskan Guides Vantage, a couple Kalingas. Akuna's, a dozen or so Phrobis Titaniums 560's, Buck Auto's, but I dig the stone handled knives the most. They are all one-of-a-kind. Waiting for tax time:) Thanks for your compliments everyone. I awoke very early and I am beat. This show I think was one of the best I have been in and hope it just gets better, THANK YOU EVERYONE.

Great SPS today. Lots of beauties on display!

My Oak 110 sitting on a new bench. Wood is good

One more thing somebody mentioned scales from sunken river logs. They had shows of southern guys retrieving these 100 year old logs I believe were cypress. I 'd like to see Buck try something on that order.

Have a nice evening
MIKE

Thank You again ITE for starting the Greatest Show. There are some great looking knives on the show today and some great pictures of them. For my donation to the show is a 1972 112 with mismatched scales. Only one side came out good and I now lost the sun.

Very nice stag on that set. It's an odd one that's for sure. I'm guessing it was cut down. The serial number is confusing as well because I think I've seen the original 0006 903 somewhere. Someone at Buck may be laser engraving serial numbers... The 023 was probably for an employee. And the brass strips were on the early 903's and as a special request later on in the custom shop. Not sure if there's more to it than just looking fancier. We need to have a 903 show sometime. James has all the good ones...
