I think its a Canadian Tire exclusive. It is called the 311 Kingsman in 420J2Ok W mutt,
Tell me about this knife, where did you find it. I can't find this in any Buck issued catalog or price list from 2016, 2017, or 2018. It shows a 2017 Buck date code and is made in China. Is it a real Buck knife or a fake. The Buck 311 is a trapper version slip knife, if it is a special order knife it will not be in their catalogs. I like the stepped down Koji look on the handle, it is very unique and appealing to my eye.
Buck has reused model numbers, as in this year (2018) the model number 907 was reused as the Expert Hunter. Back in 1988 it was used for the 907 HD 85th Bowie, and the in 1989 another version of the HD 85th Bowie with an Ivory handle. Just went to the BCCI Catalog & Price List section and went over the old custom shop price lists and found the Expert Hunter 907 first listed for sale in 1986 and on each price list after that until it closed. So the 907 Expert Hunter and the 907 Harley Davidson 85th Anniversary Bowie used the same model numbers in 1988 and 1989 (very interesting).

eBay find this week. Camillus made 303 with stag? Knife is unused and the scales are aged. What are the chances Buck did this back in the day?
My guess is that it was done in the custom shop. That's where this one was done.View attachment 856400
My GUESS is that MT_Pokt's stag 303 was not done at the Buck factory. Unlike bertl's, there are considerable gaps between the stag and the bolsters; also, MTP's does not have any handle pins while bertl's has two which is what I have seen on every early factory stag 301 and 303.
Oh crap.... I accidentally brought this one forward looking for something....
