Hello I am new to posting an image. I have a question. This knife above is a 2 dot 5 pin, The handle is perfect. There was verdigris on the blade where it says Buck .110. I cleaned that off and this is what was underneath. Would it be ethical to swap blades with another 2 dot to make this one perfect? Thanks for any input. JOE. I was thinking maybe crocus cloth might get rid of the damage?

I always leave mine the way I got them. But yours being a 4 pin makes it sweeter. Change it if you want a almost perfect knife. It wouldn't hurt it. I won't tell no one. But everybody has a different opinion. So I guess the answer is up to you since it's your knife. Not trying to be sarcastic or anyting. Some of us have told others in the past and they weren't happy with their results. Remember today is Super Sunday so a lot of folks might be thinking of other things and heaven really noticed your nice 110. Hopefully others will chime in. Thanks for sharing. ITE

Yes sir i will get better. Haven't posted many pictures or taken a Lot of pictures. Just beginning.

Your pictures are good enough for us. We all like to look at other folks knives. Most of us were not very good picture takers in the beginning. Lots of mine were blurry and a lot miss most of the knife. Got lot of background pictures with Harley any knife. So I hope you keep sharing. And welcome to the SPS. Are you from San Diego. I sure miss San Diego. Anyway that's a sweet knife you have and thanks for sharing.ITE

Thank you ITE for another SPS, it's definitely a highlight of the week for me...being able to see what wonderful Buck knives other enthusiasts have and post pictures of. For today, I have a 30th Twin Set, I like plain blades and was lucky to be able to get this in Post Falls at the 30th Anniversary Preston

You're welcome buddy. That's a beautiful set. I prefer mine without the gold Edge but this is what I came across. And had to jump on it. Thanks for sharing when you can. ITE

No knife today but something I thought was cool. Shared on the official Buck instagram, and I know lots of guys don’t have accounts over there. From the 1948 catalog. The comments on photos two and three are from whoever runs the account. Great SPS guys, lots of nice knives and some cool sets today
