A model 911 3/4 D-Guard Bowie from the Custom shop. It's called the 3/4 because at 12" it is 3/4ths the size of the 16" Confederate D-Guard Bowie. Compare size to a 120 General.

This is the newly released Buck Knives 245 Matt Would Go fixed blade knife designed by navy seal (Matt Leathers) that was lost at sea during a training mission.

It just arrived yesterday from a fellow BF member. Another BF member alerted me to a web site to get one a week ago and they were sold out the next day. This is a knife I wished I had in Viet Nam. So here's my Sunday Show contribution along with a couple of other Buck fixed blades.

Thanks Armand for getting another SPS off to a good start!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Can't post what I don't have…and I don't have a single Bowie that I know of.
I like looking at them, but don't think I've ever bought one.

I wouldn't be able to play if I had to post Bowie pictures, but you said we could post pictures of any Buck knife…so here are a couple small fellers I just finished pinning the covers on yesterday. (whew…that was one looooong sentence) :)
The 503 has smooth buffalo horn and the 505 has Sambar stag. Both pinned with nickel silver.
These were both users and pretty well beat up. They cleaned up nicely.

Can't believe I am still adding to my Buck 110 50th Anniversary collection of knives.
I don't mind though. :)
These two came in a few days ago.

Probably my last post in today's SPS. Now I'll sit back and admire and enjoy all the Bowie knives posted later when people start waking up. (will enjoy the smaller Buck knives posted too) :)

Made a mistake a while back when I was grinding some exterior ram's horn for a 110.
Things were moving along real nice and I was making lots of progress…grinding, grinding, grinding.
The exterior ram's horn ended up being to short for a 110 when I got done, so it ended up on a 112.
The 112 had brass bolsters and a mirror finish blade. It turned out great when it got dressed up with exterior ram's horn and brass pins to match the bolsters.
Decided to give it company since I like 110s way better than 112s.
Just finished up the mirror finish and brass bolstered 110 yesterday to make a fairly close set.
Boy o' boy….mirror finish blades are hard to photograph. They look lots better in real life.

What wunderful knives. The Buck bowies are my favorites.
Thanks, Armand, for another chance to show my favorite knives.

Here are some 119, the knife that brought me to the blade forums.

Well gents, this here knife is about as far from those grand Buck Bowie's you all are displaying as Buck ever got - the Buck 116 Caper! I added this one to my 100 series collection this past Friday, circa 1971. OH

First time poster, long time lurker. I have had a Buck knife for as long as I can remember. I just recently picked this one up. It's a Sterling Silver Buck 500. I don't know how rare they are, or how much they are worth, but there is not much info out there on them. The date code on this one is an upside-down U. Maybe some of the experts can tell me what year it was made. I have found a couple by doing a search, but that was about it. This one is still all original. I'm thinking of having some fancy engraving done on it like others I have seen, only to keep the finger prints off of it. It's a beautiful knife, just as long as you pick it up with a micro fiber cloth.

Don't have any Bowies but here's a couple old 112's I picked up together at a gun show yesterday. 2 dot and 3 dot.

Great pictures today of some great knives as usual everyone. I also really like the big bowie's and the 905 Mountain Man Bowie's are in my opinion one of the best classic bowie styles.

Here is a Buck 905 Crown Stag Mountain Man bowie and a couple pictures of the crown stag with a couple of it's brothers.

And thanks again Armand for your dedication to the Buck Knives SPS.
