The Sunday Picture Show... (3-1-2015)

Here is a build out I picked up a few weeks ago. Koa flame wood. The tang stamp is different than an any other I have seen. And the blade is stone washed.

Can't quite make out the tang but it looks like the 2007 Founder Edition stamp also a favorite and always thought they should switch the production knives to this.

1973 124 previously the oldest Buck I have :)
Posing with a 1969 110 :) which is now the oldest Buck I have, and is the same vintage as myself....lol
(And both of them came to me via Mark!)

honestlyinsane….all you had to do was look a few posts earlier in today's SPS (post #12) and you will see the same tang stamp on the mirror finish 110.
I bought that directly from Buck first time I was at the factory in Idaho.
The box has a born date of 12/10/07.

Here's some newer photos of a Custom Shoppe Prince in oak and S30v with some wildlife at the end. I really like it and it sees a good bit of time in the watch pocket on my jeans.

A little late today since I had to install a Hot water heater, don't want to do that for another 10+ years....No Buck Bowie Knives to show this week....But I enjoy seeing some!! Here is a 110 with Black lip and Mother of pearl 3D handles. Cool knife, too bad it was made on a blank with shorty blade....

And here is a small glimpse of a project I hope to have finished by the end of the year:thumbup::thumbup::D

I wasn't sure how I felt about this 50th Anniversary Buck 110.
It has blue dyed jigged bone with nickel silver bolsters.
I just finished adding nickel silver pins and decided I do like it. I think the pins added a lot to this one.

I don't have any Buck Bowie knives but I do have an "original" Pigsticker. Nice knives are on the greatest show today. Like the big knives a lot.

Mark, that N/S and blue jigged bone 110 is pretty nifty.
I think the color scheme etc...is pretty striking.

I agree. Maybe it's a Navy thing but I'm some what partial to blue and that 110 looks nice. Some times the dyed bone can look kind of cheap and cheesy depending on the color. That is not the case with Stump's work. I like it.

Here are a couple of pictures of a 103 I purchased in 1968.

Here is a brochure I got in 1967 to take you down memory lane.

Here is a picture of a hawk that I took at a wildlife bird refuge on the edge of the Great Salt Lake.

Thank you ITE for your regularly scheduled SPS each week. I look forward to it each and every Sunday.
Thank you all for sharing your knives with me.

Wow what a bunch of fantastic Buck knives in today's "greatest show on earth"!

Here is a shot of some of the flap over 100's picked up yesterday, a pre 86 119, & 105, a 91 105, and a empty flap over 102 sheath.

Here is another shot of some 916 Bowies

The closest thing I have to a Bowie is my Buck 119. Here are some pictures I took a few weeks ago in the woods:
