First time poster, long time lurker. I have had a Buck knife for as long as I can remember. I just recently picked this one up. It's a Sterling Silver Buck 500. I don't know how rare they are, or how much they are worth, but there is not much info out there on them. The date code on this one is an upside-down U. Maybe some of the experts can tell me what year it was made. I have found a couple by doing a search, but that was about it. This one is still all original. I'm thinking of having some fancy engraving done on it like others I have seen, only to keep the finger prints off of it. It's a beautiful knife, just as long as you pick it up with a micro fiber cloth.

Panotaker, welcome to the SPS ... I hope you come back next week...

Good picture of your cool 500 Buck Knife... I really like it...

I would love to put a Buffalo on it, if it was mine...

Thanks for sharing it on the SPS... ITE

:)

This is the newly released Buck Knives 245 Matt Would Go fixed blade knife designed by navy seal (Matt Leathers) that was lost at sea during a training mission.

It just arrived yesterday from a fellow BF member. Another BF member alerted me to a web site to get one a week ago and they were sold out the next day. This is a knife I wished I had in Viet Nam. So here's my Sunday Show contribution along with a couple of other Buck fixed blades.

The Bowie in Armand's photo above is a 909 Mountain Bowie and is one big knife. The photo below shows a 909 with a 903 for side by side sizing.

Here is a 909 with a Tattoo

Thanks JB, for sharing your Bowies with all of us...:thumbup::thumbup:

Boy your 909 sure looks sweet when it's all cleaned up...

I need to do that to mine... But the 909 Mountain Bowie is one BIG BOY for sure...

:)

Great pictures today of some great knives as usual everyone. I also really like the big bowie's and the 905 Mountain Man Bowie's are in my opinion one of the best classic bowie styles.

Here is a Buck 905 Crown Stag Mountain Man bowie and a couple pictures of the crown stag with a couple of it's brothers.

And thanks again Armand for your dedication to the Buck Knives SPS.
