“Wrong” blade, unfinished surface of the scales, is it a lunchbox knife? Tiguy, do you know more? Any information about the knife woud be appreciated.
Thank you, Armand for another picture show, the Greatest Show on Earth.

Here’s one you don’t see very often as most were made for one guy. 1 of about 5 tobacco knives made.

As I understand it...
This pattern was made by Buck for Browning's Vietnam War commemorative series. There were 1,975 of those made according to their advertising.
In 2011, Buck made 30 of these knives for sale to employees. 10 were cherry dymalux, 10 stag, and 10 black phenolic. All had the same white bone, micarta spacers, brass guard, and nickel silver pommel.
Perhaps someone with a little more knowledge can chime in, but I think that's accurate.
Mine is over 14 inAwesome knife, Joe Hauser I believe told me they were rope knives. I have one with gold etching on the blade. It has two sailing ships on the blade with antique ivory Micarta. I believe James has one too. Yours is different. Nice handle. Wish Buck would make these again. I always thought it was a tobacco knife. It's a cool one for sure.
