Great show today. Haven't bought any new knives lately but did pick this up at a gun show.
Ventured out to Crownpoint, IN as Bucks are rare at MI gun shows. Not big into 300's but I find the "odd" ones interesting. 315, 321
Looks to be in good shape but will hit the spa in the future.

As I understand it...
This pattern was made by Buck for Browning's Vietnam War commemorative series. There were 1,975 of those made according to their advertising.

In 2011, Buck made 30 of these knives for sale to employees. 10 were cherry dymalux, 10 stag, and 10 black phenolic. All had the same white bone, micarta spacers, brass guard, and nickel silver pommel.

Perhaps someone with a little more knowledge can chime in, but I think that's accurate.
wow fantastic. thank you Sir.

now this is a knife we should try to get for the forum knife.:)

So here are my 3. I am missing the cherrywood version which hopefully I can find someday. I also have one that I got from Armand a couple years ago that we believe is either a sample or prototype
to the ones made for Browning for their living history collection.

Note that the tang stamp is different that the one on MT_Pokt's version.

Awesome James! If I ever come across a cherry handles version you'll be the first to know.
