The Sunday Picture Show... (3-25-2012)

Late as usual. This is the latest Buck 110 added to the herd. Has handle scales of white MOP, red coral, and blue lapis... a real 'Patriot', nickel silver bolsters, filework right on out to the blade tip and it's an auto to boot. ;) Custom work performed by Painted Pony.

Boy, that's the most striking 110 I've ever seen......

sitflyer....I really like the look of those smoothed down pins on that 112!

Plunberdv....I would have loved to sit in on that demonstration!!

Wild Bill giving a demo of how he cuts out the feathers, deerheads, etc. to put on the handles. He was kind enough to give me one of the demo pieces.

Congratulations on your display....it looks great!!

I thought because it was a real nice day, I needed an outside picture. What could be better a Buck knife and a German beer mug on a sunny Sunday.

Yes, Ed, that's true. Nothing goes over the classics:
The best factory folder in the whole world and the heavy
earthware mug for one of the best German beers.

As I know it is principially prohibited to export Beer from Germany to
the USA. So I can't carry some Gold Ochsen Bier with me to the annual BCCI-
meeting in Idano next year. But who knows, may be that I find a way. ;)

Great show fellas, I was out of town all weekend with no internet access. Looks like the show turned out great Dave, wish I could get out to one of those.

Plumber, Yes we had a great time at the Pasadena Knife Show. The number of tables were no larger than our Silver City Knife & Gun Show but the quality was way above. There were outstanding custom knives on soo many tables that I got light headed. ;). Then we had a great dinner afterwards. DM

We did indeed have a great time. I just regret not having the time away from the table to wander around the show with you and Leesa. Here's a group shot taken by David Foote shortly before we closed down and headed for dinner Saturday night. I look like I'm falling asleep on my feet but I wasn't (not at that point anyway ).

Great photo Dave. There were 3 or 4 wives who were wandering around and not in that photo. There were atleast 15 members at this show. O-Man what a Great time we had. DM

One of these days I am going to make it down there. Looks like you guys had fun!

David Yellowhorse and Wild Bill Cody are Great story tellers. Just sitting around listening to them will keep you in stitches! DM
