The Sunday Picture Show... (3-27-2011)

Didn't think I'd get time to post anything, but while cooking outside, I noticed the light was pretty good, so I drug out my new stuff that came in this week. One of my new toys was a lens for my camera, so I gave it a test drive. Worked great!

First of all, the discussions regarding the 307s intrigued me, so I scored a couple. These are very nice knives.






Secondly, I knocked down this Paradigm for about half retail. I thought it was a pretty good deal and then found the knife appears to be in new condition. No box, but I'm happy! It's bigger than I expected.






Great knives and pics everyone. I find these threads inspiring...and often costly. :D

Wow what a great selection of knives to drool over-thanks to all.

Nothin new in the tank here but I finally got a 301 a few weeks ago. Cant believe its taken me this long to get one.

Casey, I don't see the photos ? I purchased a 301 back in Dec. well my 3rd and usa made . Nice set of Bucklites . Fritz, is your top one the Goliath or a 426 ? DM

Hmm. We had a server crash and are moving our website to a new location. I suppose the change in IP has not made it through the web for everyone yet.

Thanks guys, yep the big daddy is the 446 Goliath, man thats a lotta knife, one of the very few folders that I would actually prefer to carry in its sheath rather than pocket carry.

DM,
I don't see any dates on any the paperwork. It does state that you send the registration information to El Cajon. The box has a pink sticker on the end with
"Wrangler"
"B307-00-0"
"Cat. 2589"
printed on it. I'd gladly scan the paperwork to share if you're interested.

I shot that hog with my bow at about 2:00 a.m. under a full moon in South Texas. Someone, somewhere had castrated this boar. The 2000 acre ranch I shot him on has never trapped, let alone cut, any pigs. Tusks are 4 3/8" long. A bit unreal to say the least!

Get you a piece of white foam board to use as a reflector to throw some light on you shadows. Will perk things up even more....

No number at the bottom of those papers ? The hogs dentures don't look like any I've seen . But a nice job on cleaning the skull. Thanks. DM

Same with mine David, none of the ones I have that came in the box like those have a date on the paperwork but they do seem to date from before the move to Post Falls because of the El Cajon address.

Thanks 300, I gotta take a day and put together the tips you've given-I have them saved but never get around to applying them:( Everytime I take a bad pic, I curse myself for not getting to it.
