The Sunday Picture Show... (3-30-2014)

Outstanding collection of cutlery fellas, dazzling show today.

Redcanoe sent a tidal wave of Bucklite 424s South to me and I have been bowled over by his kindness. There are so many that I had trouble getting all of them into the shot, a CPA firm is standing by to make a complete count of their number (after tax season, of course). This kind of wealth, concentrated in one spot has me reeling, like that of Daddy Warbucks (it is OK for me to use a comic strip character because someone on this forum claims to live on a desert planet created for Star Wars movies!). Real rich stuff. Real wealth. Thank you kindly redcanoe, you are all right.

Notice that only the new models have no nail nick (a feature that I personally like). Off the radar for 10 years the 424 was brought back for our good friends Canadian Tire. This model is my favorite EDC and the near one has been carried for years. Love it.

Wow! That is a truckload of 424's!!!

It sure feels like Tattoine here!
Shoot, it didn't rain a drop for 2 years, until a few weeks ago.....

LOL DC, at least I think LOL since I've blocked your posts due to a weak stomach and the apprehension that I will see a photo of your stitched up face as taken by an emergency room worker. Not really.

It was a real deluge of 424s, avalanche, inundation, completely covering much of this part of my neck of the woods.

Hahaha!! I would love to see 424's blanketing this place!

Emergency rooms..... haven't been to one in 20 years or so. Everytime I need stitches, I just get out a sewing needle and some thread. Much cheaper, and way faster too. 8 times (in 20 years) I have saved a trip to the ER that way :)

Thanks Armand for another SPS. Some fine looking Bucks here today!

Here are a couple Burgundy Micarta Bucks for the show.

Afternoon fellas, great show fellas. Wish i woulda looked before I took my picks for the day, no Bucks in a cup. Welcome Daga, nice rammy for sure.

Got 6 knives back from the spa yesterday. Too many pics to show all in one SPS so I'll split em up as fodder for the next few.

317 that was in real nice shape other than some buzby who owned it previously took a dremel or wheel to it to sharpen it and scuffed up the blades. Fortunately he realized he was goofing up early and
stopped before he did real damage.

I dug up some old pictures of a knife I still have to go along with Armand's opening photos.
I like this little Buck knife. :)

Excellent show today!!

imafritz thank you for sharing your before spa and after spa pictures. It shows me what they can do to a couple 317's I have when I decide to send it in as well as some other knives that need a bit of touching up. Boy it sure looks great when they are done. Great pictures.

Imafritz, I have a few folding hunters but no Buck yet. Your knife looks great after the spa treatment.

Thanks ged and ed. I just cant say enough about the spa. The pics dont do it justice. That knife looks brand spanking new in my hand. bolsters perfect, those backsprings really cleaned up beautiful.
I got a 112/ back and I have to check if I have before pics. It had popped rear bolster pins. Its beautious now.

I only have these group pics-Third from left

After
