Here's some old photos of an old 905 square hollow mountain man with pappy's initials on the blade. Something I've never seen before.

And I didn't find as many of these as I would've liked but I won't complain.

Thank you for looking, lets keep this going. Lets see how many different knives we can get here. HL

ITE, that 704 is gorgeous. I have been using the heck out of my new 110 from the Buck custom shop. The feel is perfect and balanced. I think the drop point makes all the difference.

Thanks Armand!! Always look forward to the SPS.:thumbup::thumbup:

Skyler...I can't decide if I like the bald eagle pictures or the morel pictures better. Very nice!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I've had a good week receiving Buck knives.
I'll start off with the best. These came from James and really add to my Buck 110 collection. (although one frame is a 112) :)
I don't know anything about these yet, but my best guess is that these represent about 1973.
I also don't know metal processes. but I think these are the old forged brass frames that Buck stopped using in 1973.
My reasoning for the 1973 date is that the 112 frames have Macassar ebony and that they are glued. Using glue on Macassar ebony stopped in 1973.
Also, the 112 went into production in 1972 and used different handle material that first year, then switched to Macassar ebony. That's my best guess anyway.

Here are the set of 112 frames with Macassar ebony glued in and the 110 frame before any build work started.
They add a nice perspective to the early 110. I already have a display that shows the different steps in the blade build.

Thanks again James!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I had a weak moment when I bought this, but I like it now that I have it.... :)

Hi Armand! Thanks for another Sunday Picture Show. As always I can see beautiful Buck knives! Thanks All for Sharing. There is my pictures for this show.

As alway, Armand, Iappreciate your ongoing show. Thank you. My small part: some of the 102 I have (I forgot to put the inverted three liner into the picture). Good to see: the old 102 had a larger handle than the newer ones.

Stumps, it is interesting to see how Buck made the 110 frames.

RBasil....can you tell us anything about the handle material or the knife?
I really like the looks of the handle on that one!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks Herbert.
I don't see any two liners in there. ;)

Here is another that came to me this week....this one from a forum member here on BF.
Now that I've filled all the slots in my 110 collection pre 4 Dot, I'll slowly start filling in some spots post 4 Dot.
This is one that fits. I had the double dash finger groove, but not the standard.

Another Buck 110 that came in the mail this week...the D2 offering from SKblades.
A very nice, good looking Buck 110 with satin finish flat ground D2 and NS bolsters and liners.

I don't have any immediate plans for this one, but may change out the cocobolo Dymondwood sometime in the future. Maybe to real cocobolo.

CST, that's a sweet 110 with turquoise handles...
Who did the work on it... They did a nice job...

:)

RBasil, boy you come up with some sweet Bucks...
This one is just beautiful... Thanks you for sharing
on the SPS for all of us to enjoy... ITE

:)

I'm many weeks late for posting these. Just suffered too many distractions over the last few weeks.

This is Mikael's 119 sheath that I won in his GAW thread. I will certainly update that thread as well. The sheath is everything I would want in a 119 sheath. The dangler is a must since I'm in and out of the truck, on and off the 4-wheeler and tractor, and that articulation is much appreciated. Terrific work!

Even brought the ol' 619 out to try it on. I think I'm going to have to get a Brahma now...

I really like the one liners and that stag one at the bottom of your Pic...

Well, I like them all... The 102 is my favorite of the 100 series...
