Another Alpha Dorado. I like them but they are a little small for my fat paws.

Here's a pair of my Indian ringnecks...

Here is the 102 Chip Flint from the 2014 Legacy Collection. Buffalo horn handle with a nickel silver inlay. Didn't see the dust on the handle till I was back inside. Too lazy to retake the picture. The COA says this will be the last one in the series which started in 2006. They have done every knife in the 100 series except the 105...anyone else collect this series? Let's do a campaign for one more knife next year... the 105 so that the set will be complete.

Bought this one from a fellow member of our knife club here in St Louis. He is a retiree from Union Pacific and said he used his Safety Award points to get this knife. The knife has a 1995 date code which is the year he retired. I found it listed in the 1996 Special Projects list with an issue of 1,212.

Here is Penny holding a Box Turtle.
I believe the American Box turtle is the only one that can completely withdraw into its shell.

DeSotoSky,

Nice Buck 102. I do have all the others I think and will be getting one of the 102's hopefully fairly soon. I believe the others in this series is the 118, 124, 119, and the 103. I will have to dig them out later for some pictures if I have time.

Sorry to be so late in the day to this weeks SPS. I am having problems with my computer and could not upload any images.

Thanks again Armand from all of us for taking the time out of your night every Sunday to get the Buck Knives Sunday Picture show up and running for all of us to enjoy.

This week I have a couple with Ram's horn handles. The 194 Vanguard and a 532.

And for some wildlife pictures I have a couple pictures of a Bighorn Sheep my Father got a few years back in Eastern Oregon which made a page in the Oregonian newspaper as well as on the wall of his house. Drawing a tag for one of these is like winning the lottery and than getting one tops the cake. I had to great opportunity to tag along on the hunt with him when we spotted, stalked, and eventually bagged this beauty. It was a hunt to remember that is for sure. They are an interesting animal. I am pretty proud of my Father and his accomplishments.

Here are the others in the series that I know of. With an issue of only 250, this years 102 is going to be the rarest.
Why no model 105... :(
2006 103 (1,000) $260 MSRP
2006 401 (1,000) $280
2007 124 (1,000) $280
2009 119 (1,000) $200
2010 118 (1,000) $250
2011 121 (500) $250
2012 116 (500) $280
2013 120 (500) $400
2014 102 (250) $300

Wow!!

I think we might need a little info on those.
They are SWEET!!

Hi Chris,

In 2007 Buck issued this Mokume bolstered 271 with Graffe bone scales LE, best way to describe mokume is a brass & alloy mix looking kind of like a damascus steel in appearance. It's hard to take a good photo of the stuff to really show it off.

Now the next one is one of the coated Dorado's from BP that I changed the scales to after market Torquoise. The Scales were made by an old forum member, I thought the colors go well together.

Great pictures everyone of some fantastic Buck Knives.

Here are some of the other Buffalo Horn 100 series with inlays. All are new in the box and some I have doubles.

In order from top to bottom.

116 Caper with nickel elk inlay.
118 Personal with nickel buffalo inlay.
103 Skinner with bone buffalo inlay.
121 Guide with bone buffalo inlay.
119 Special with nickel deer inlay.
124 Froniersman with nickel running horse inlay.
And on the right side the 112 Ranger with bone buffalo inlay and the 110 Hunter with bone buffalo inlay.

I guess I still need the 120, 102, and the 401. I thought I had the 401 but I must have sold it at some time. I have my eye's on one though so that may change soon.
