The Sunday Picture Show... (6-14-2015)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a sweet Cabela's D-Guard
The D-Guard and the Mountain Man Bowie are two of my favorite Buck Knives...
The Bucklites are my favorite Bucks... But when it comes down to it... For non
plastic handle Buck Knives the D-Guard and the Mountain Man Bowies are my
favorite Bucks... The one I seek out the most is a ivory handle D-Guard...
I almost had one a few months ago... It was Beautiful... But the guy backed out
of the deal we made... It almost happened... Next time... I will try and post a
few pic's of it later today... If I have time... I'm getting ready to move to Oregon...
So I'm really busy... Anyway on with "The Greatest Show on Earth" ....

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

Thank you as always Armand for doing this each week.

Here is a little Alpha in S30V that is sharp as a laser

One I saw while seeing if I had any pearl handles was this Wild Bill design, ironwood and mastodon. 301. 2008. Wished the front end had more light in the wood like the back end. That's one of my complaints about ironwood, it is sometimes too dark. 300

I so enjoy this show on Sunday mornings. Thought I should show an old custom I picked up years ago. Joe Houser seemed to think it from the 70's. He's confirming for me. Any info from you guys would be great. It's not done by Dave either, I had this at the Blade show and ask him if he knew anything. It was customized after market. The wood and pins are original and were never removed.

The show is off to a great start with some pictures of some fantastic Buck Knives.

Thanks Armand for keeping this show alive for us all to enjoy each and every Sunday.

In keeping with Armands D-Guard theme.

A few years ago while searching the internet I googled "Buck D-Guard" and clicked on images at the top of the page and pulled up some pictures of a D-Guard which was a 25 year service award knife with mammoth ivory handles.
I thought it was one of the most majestic knives I have seen. It became my grail knife. After pulling up the pictures for a few years and drooling over the knife low and behold it came up for sale and I just happened to know the guy who had it listed for sale. A quick call and a bit of negotiating it was mine.

This is now my favorite knife in my collection.

Great Show. No D-Guards or Mountain Mans here:(:(:( But I would Like one in MOP:D OR The Ivory one above would do:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: I would rather have the "White" Kalinga:D:D Scrimshawed with an Fat Sturgeon, on the back side

Here is the only Knife I have that would fall into the true "Bowie Family" of Buck Knives!!

Cant wait to see some other great Big Bowie'S, Maybe a cleaned up bear paw:D:D

Wow!! Talking about setting the bar high! You guys have done so early. Absolutely beautiful all of them! James, it's not often our grail knife comes around a second time. Congratulations!

Since I have no real bowies, how about a little retro 535 . . . with my fat fingers once again getting into the picture. Sorry.

Good morning everyone! Loving the pictures! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]. Today I'm showing off my custom shop 110 I just got! With nickel silver bolsters and pins, elk stag finger grooved and a S30v partial serrated blade!

I love the sheath!

Wanted to go in the woods and get some real pictures, but the rain said not today.
So I brought out the snake head!

My first time on here and it's super cool. Some beauties on here so far! You guys are going to have me spending some money[emoji389][emoji389][emoji389]

For something a little different-
I am really liking this Redpoint. Used it while mowing yesterday to cut a couple 1"saplings out of the way. The locking mechanism is unique and locks both open and closed. This is the easiest, and arguably safest, knife to open and CLOSE one handed that I have ever used.

Cabela's D-Guard...

Armand, is this the "First Shop" bowie designed by Josh Buck? I seem to remember something like the wood of the handle came from the original blacksmith shop? I really like the shape of the guard, very elegant.

No D-Guard but a Bowie: here's an old Pic of an overrun bowie, the 908. I had no time to take a new picture. Next week Armand's show will go on with Buck 124 Part 4, the redheads.
