The Sunday Picture Show... (6-14-2015)

I have really enjoyed looking at all of the Bowies today, I do not have a D guard Bowie, but I do have a stacked leather one. This one was sold by BPS.

What a fantastic SPS today! I have enjoyed seeing all of the great Buck knives in the GSOE. I do love the big Bowie knives and do have a few, maybe one day I'll be luck enough to have a D-Guard Bowie like the ones you folks have shown here today.

Thanks for the photo's

JB

These are at the other end of the spectrum from the Bowies, but they are fun to carry as dress knives.

Hello Kim this will show you some of the different Buck knives out there, but only collect what you want, other wise it will get expensive.
Thank you everyone that has posted some of their fantastic Buck knives, they are very impressive to see. HL

Looking thru the drawers for something different to show I came up with this little 759 Metro. It is black paperstone with a BUICK automotive logo. c.2011. It has a Buck catalog number so I'm sure it's a factory project but couldn't find it in the lists.

DeSoto,

That is the other end of the spectrum from the Bowies. Nice diversion.

Harold,
I missed out on those elk 500s back when. I know it sounds odd, but I would have rather had one of those than any of the Bowies because I would have actually carried it. I like the mountain man stuff but now a bunch of years ago I set aside my old CVA big barreled muzzle loader and accouterments. Now modern ML, pellets and plastic patched copper coated bullet. I still have all the old stuff and a coffee can full of lead bullets. Wonder how long pyrodex will last.

A guy came up at the Blade Show and no one else was around and asked me if one of these were valuable. He was holding the orange 759 pocket worn and no box. I stretched it a bit by saying $25 to 30. After talking a little to some others I should have said $10 if you were lucky. I feel bad telling someone who thinks they have a neat knife it is not worth anything, but the truth is the truth. He also wanted to know why it was shaped like it was and I said so you can clip it on stuff, he didn't understand, I should have said keyring........... 300

Welcome aboard Butler1980! Sweet custom Buck 110 Cvolvillia! How long did it take to get it? I'm waiting for my first CS Buck. I think this fits in with all those super nice D Bowies. Great show again!

Always have liked the 926 over a 110. I know that shouldn't be spoken aloud. Some of us are just drop point kind a guys.

I'm a relative newbie admittedly, and I've not seen a 926 before. Is/was this some limited edition knife?

Love drop points and would definitely buy one if I could locate one. Buck's website lists nothing like this as far as I can tell.

Thanks and
Cheers!

Hello Peter and 14Bucks! Thank you for the kind welcome. I am finding some real interesting designs, I love the cut outs. I can't wait to post the ones I have and have coming in!

My apologies. I did indeed mean to say 426 not 926. Thanks for the correction and sorry for the error.
