The Sunday Picture Show... (6-8-2014)

Thanks again this Sunday everyone for sharing your pictures of your fantastic Buck Knives as well as the wildlife pictures.

Here is a couple pictures of a 111 etched "The Buck Stops Here" 1 of 300.

For my wildlife pictures I have a picture of a couple of critters that have been digging around the edges of my barn so I set some of my grandpa's old bear traps and low and behold I caught 2 within hours of each other. One by the foot and the other by the tail as you can see.

No more digging for them.

did you fry them up? we got road kill restaruants north of us, these 2 fat moles would qaulify...LOL

USMule, Please send me your address and I will send them your way as soon as I get them skinned and cleaned.

Actually I got one of the moles with a little stealth and patience. When a fresh mound first appears I sneak up to the mound with a shovel and watch the mound from about 15 feet or so away. If I see the mound moving from them pushing up on the dirt I sneak up to the mound within a foot or two and when the mound moves I shove the shovel into the ground at the base of the mound and flip it up real quick hopefully with the mole. They are always caught alive this way and can be transplanted to someone's yard who has done you wrong lately. Just kidding. I catch about a half dozen a year this way. The other one I trapped with a trap that goes down their runway.

This one is alive in the bottom of a bucket.

Great show so far everyone and thanks for taking the time to post your pictures of your Buck knives as well as the wildlife pictures.

Let's keep them coming.

Here is a couple of pictures of a couple Buck knives I received this week from Jerad Gilmar of JAG Custom Knives. The 2 on the left are 560 style 110's. The brass version was thru the Buck Collectors Club a couple of years ago and has the BCCI tang stamp with mirror polished blade and mirror polished brass handles. The one in the center is mirror polished nickel silver with a 50th tang stamped mirror polished blade. The one on the right has carbon fiber scales and a satin finished blade of CPM-154 signed by CJ Buck and a carbon fiber pocket clip. I guess next I have to get him to make a 560 style with copper handles, damascus, and now maybe titanium. They look much better in person than in the pictures.

Jerad does fantastic work and is extremely talented. He sells and posts here on the forum and for those of you not familiar with him you should check out some of his custom Buck folders he has posted pictures of. He will build you almost anything you ask.

Just got back from the blade show with my new BCCI 301 that I had ordered and also picked up a second one while there.

You never had Smoked Mole Jerky?...LOL I actually can see a day very soon where will have to eat these......LOL My dog love's to play with these moles thats how she ended up with snowballs attached to her mouth fur. She's a ratter....Shih-Tzu & Miniature Schnauzer

Here a more of Jerad's (JAG) creations;

The bottom was the club knife a while back.
The second from bottom has 10,000 year old mastodon ivory and 5,000 year old bog oak for the scales.
The second from top is a lightweight user with 420HC blade and pocket clip.
The top one was what I had with me in Atlanta yesterday at Blade. It is a carbon fiber and titanium liner lock with a pocket clip.

Stumps, Those are some super nice Buck Customs you have there from Jered. I really like the slimmed down 110 linerlock with carbon scale.

I wish Buck made a thinner version of their 110 and 112.

Very nice. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Those are very nice! thansk for sharing them, Never been a big fan of all metal or synthetic handled knives but seeing everyones on the BUCK FORUM I'm starting to get persuaded.....Nice bone handle too1 :thumbup: Stumps.

I love it!!! Awesome knives and wildlife everyone!! I have to give my Pops Armand two thumbs up for setting up the best show on the planet!!!!! Here are two of my newest additions! Other than all those awesome Web Specials! This Buck Tops CSAR-T has to be the meanest most serious Folder I own!!! I also found this sweet snake head at a flea market! I didn't find and knives there, but when I seen the snake head all I could think about was THE SPS! Happy Sunday Everyone!

James….I'm not sure if I like the liner lock better or the mastodon ivory. I would say the liner lock if it was for user knives only, but oh, that mastodon ivory!! The liner lock was the most expensive. That's still a hard choice for me between those two. :)

Great show so far today!!

Since I've missed posting for a while, I decided to update (almost all of my 50th anniversary 110's) with these pictures.
I've been trying to collect two of each variation that comes out this year celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 110.
These all have the first stamp with just the "50" in them.

I see I still need one more Chairman and one more of the SMKW "Transition Knife" in which 250 were made lacking the scale shield.
I'll add the last two quarterly knives when they become available.

Hi All,

What a fantastic SPS to come home to after a hard days work, thanks to all for posting. Armand, what can I say....you rock, thanks for a nice way to unwind each week!

Sorry no energy for shooting new photo's this evening. So here is a 111 like Armand's and it's little friend.
