Great show again, Stumps great work, I need to add some more 124's to my meager collection, Those liner locks look interesting also.
Here is one that I forgot I had, a 105 almost NIB but obviously it has been used. 105 NIB 001.jpg

A few more 124's….

The bottom 124 in these first three pictures is a knife that was confiscated by Buck when they found an employee doing his own modifications on the knife during working hours. It was later sold to the shop foreman's brother-in-law in 1973. It has burgundy micarta and a different blade profile. I got it new in box with the original receipt from Buck.

Stumps,
A really nice job of rehandling your knives. They are beautifully done and just beautiful. Are those tarpon? If they are, it is a really good fisherman that can catch them on light tackle. I have caught several, but with heavy equipment. My hat is off to a great fisherman and knife customizer. Thanks for the great photos.

Lots of great looking 124's today and I don't have any (yet). It is an on and off again stormy day here so I found an old picture of a couple of lightnings (172/175). The 110 is to show the size of the knives.

My favorite Buck 124. Special Project list says 40 of these were made. This one is #0046/1000.

That is one beauty DeSotoSky. That is one I wish to get my hands on one day. Pretty rare to see one come available but I will keep my fingers crossed.

My friends I have only one photo of a Buck 124. From long ago when it seemed the forum was only talking about 124s and I had had enough...ha Here today for laughs...........300

I think sawgrass was commenting above on the blue/green Lucite handled knives for the 25th year celebration of BCCI. They can still be purchased but you have to be a member. I would suggest to sawgrass to join the club using the $10 no paper E only membership and then go an order one if he desires. Others can do this also. Go to the website and contact club President John Foresman.

Not the worst Nativity scene I've ever seen 300. No bother, you have several months to finish it before Christmas. (I figured that I was next to go into counseling but I'm headed for the back of the line, yea, uh huh, the back.) :)

The start of the / and \ collection:

My first Buck lock back is a 1994 112. So I decided to build out a collection of 1994 \ lock backs. Progress thus far:

A 110 and a 500.

Hey, howd that 1993 500 slip in there? Now I guess I gotta get that year, too:-)

The Alpha 112 is out in the shop for new grips:

Next week should see a 501, 503, and a brass 112.

What kind of wood is that, Stumps? I have a feeling that grain is really gonna pop when you are done. I've been plotting to do some spalted pecan. I made some scales for a straight razor that were beautiful and I think I need to put some one a 110. ;)

Great show guys, sure wish I had a 124 to show. That 103 is pretty neat.

Nothin new to report. Looking back through photo bucket and decided to post one of my daughters Bucks that she got when she became a Buckaroo

Hi Mark,

Yes I also have one of the Colt 124's. Here is a little history on the Colt 124, a company called the American Collectible Products LTD contracted Buck to make this knife. Buck did not know that this company did not get permission from colt to use the Colt Firearms trademarked rampant horse on these knives. Colt's lawyers sent Buck a cease and desist letter, telling them to stop making these. Some were ordered destroyed or at least were supposed to be destroyed, there is an estimate that 40 of the knives are out there so maybe more of you can find one.

Now these could be ordered with a wood plaque. I have one of these wood plaque's do any of the current Colt 124 owners have one also? Maybe I'll dig it out and take some photo's of it one day:thumbup:.

Here is a few more 124 shots for the show.
