The Sunday Picture Show... (7-22-2018) . . . (OLD SHOW Look at the DATE...

Tin Sue - I would assume all the 532's are silver but there is no markings on them. Looks more like sterling silver than aluminum to me at least on the face side. The backsides look to me like a mixture of materials including stainless steel.

I would think the sterling silver would have .925 stamp on one edge of each handle....also I believe the sterling are just covers as in the 525 gent sterling---
a silver frame would probably not hold up to the stress of being a knife...

If they're silver it should be stamped 92.5 or sterling or both on the blade side of the liner, per DP. I asked the same question. If they're not marked their aluminum....

DP posted 30 seconds before I did....

None of the 532's are stamped although I have seen one other PRCA once like mine which was NIB and it said sterling silver right on the end of the box and was not stamped anywhere on the knife.

Here’s a little 111 Classic I like to call ed.

I reeled him in from the bay after coming home with a few beers in me. I failed to scrutinize the pics and didn’t realize it was personalized.

Oh well, that’s what you get.

I love it Fritz,

ED = erectile dysfunction. After a Viagra and a few Heinzicans you can call Cheryl (sorry for the punny, I thought it was funny).

One more pair for the show. Colt 525 Sterling (with hallmark). These are pretty rare. They were sold at the 1996 Colt Collectors Association Meeting. 75 of the Colt Serpent logo and 175 of the Rampant Colt were made.
