The Sunday Picture Show... (7-22-2018) . . . (OLD SHOW Look at the DATE...

None of the 532's are stamped although I have seen one other PRCA once like mine which was NIB and it said sterling silver right on the end of the box and was not stamped anywhere on the knife.

The easiest way to determine whether something is silver is rubbing it with a white cloth and if the cloth has black on it, then it's silver... Sterling Silver is a precious metal and is supposed to be marked...

I just realized, the problem with that test I think aluminum would turn the cloth black also?? I don't know? I'll go check, I have some aluminum in the garage...

My lunch break lasted longer than I thought it was.:D:p I have a piece of aluminum that has been mounted on my workbench for years. After rubbing hard for a bit the cloth had a very light shade of grey on it. So the above test should be valid...

Don you can send that brassy 124 to me anytime. Hay Brother, you better slow down in that heat if you know what I mean. I have a section of fence I have to take down to replace a 4x4 post the neighbor broke with his truck when he built his storage shed 2 years ago. That section fence is now ready to fall down, it will only be 91 for me (only hard part will be the old cemented post to dig out).

Ya, I'm only working about 15 minutes at a time with 20-30 min breaks. Luckily my wife is helping, I'm just running the saw's and the electric pole saw really made it easy, no climbing...

You need to be careful also JB. Mine wasn't as severe as yours....

rub the silver and smell it---if it has a putrid smell it is silver..serious…..

that's cool jb-im gonna get me one of them kits and try it out--soon....

Thank you Armand for the SPS each week, also as JB said above thanks for the photo contributions! Any of you contributors going to the 30th event next week those of us stuck on the home front sure would love to see some photos taken there (please).

Cool stuff... Where can I get a 112 like that... :)

Here is a little 112 that was hard to get photos of the blade etch.

Have a great Day everyone!

Late to the game this week. Good show folks!

Just got done eating a kale salad with light dressing. I'm banning myself from posting pics until I grow a pair...

Uhh I'm late because I am in America.
But I brought some pictures with me for Armand's picture show. Here's some Mother of pearl.

Welcome abroad Heabbie! Like Germany, it's stunningly beautiful. Just different.

Pete, wishing he wasn't where it's 109 deg...
