Hi ITE -

Here are the specs on the Sirus -
Specifications:
Blade: 3.25"
Overall: 7.75"
Blade Steel: 420HC
Length Closed: 4 1/2" (11.4 cm)
Blade Length: 3 1/4" (8.3 cm)
Blade Shape: Drop point
Knife Type: Folding, Pocketknife
Weight: 3.9 oz. (111 g.)
Handle Material: Anodized Aluminum
Carry System: Stainless steel clip

These are assisted opening, and they have a unique safety lock system. The Sirus has a very beefy blade and they are well made.

Buck had these as web specials a couple of years ago, so I picked up a few and gave them as Christmas gifts - my son got one and he really loves the knife - I will have to get a picture of his now, he has really put it through the ringer!

Thanks, ITE, for the SPS - I had missed the last few as I was traveling.

best regards -

ITE, Thanks for keeping the Sunday picture show going. Its nice to see that you have a little variety in your collection:D. Haebbie, those are a pair of great looking blades. Mqqn, I've never paid too much attention to the Sirius model, but I have to say that I like the lines. I might have to add one to my list of Buck knives to get one day (So now my list is only about 60 blades long unless you want to start counting custom shop knives). EEE, about all that I can say is wow! This thread is like a trip through a buck museum every week! Colt, you have good taste in blades and revolvers. I4, I love those twinsets.

Today I'm posting some pics of a sheath I made for my Vanguard. I stayed up late puting the final touches on it last night so it would be ready for today's show. I'll probably post more about it in the Sheath forum, but I knew that I wanted to share it with those of you in the SPS first. By the way, it's my first attempt at working leather (aside from some cub-scout crafts) so any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Gosh, this must rank with the best of the Sunday shows.....

I do love the ruffed grouse blade. Artistry is amazingly true to life.

I don't really have much to add......I'll throw these in. Never made real good pics of these before.

Joe said the 25th Annie was interesting for some reason.

And the Canadian DU was just too pretty to pass up.

I like the FG 112s.

;)

Here's my Buck knife "saves" so far.
All were either damaged or disfigured in some way before I got to play with them...

EEE:

Fabulous collection. It is always said that no matter what the size of a collection, there is always one that is larger somewhere. You have to be the exception to that rule. I cannot imagine someone having more 124s than you do. My group isn't bad but is puny compared to yours. It is a privelege to see the all time collection.

Thanks again!!!

Let's see what type of Buck knife should I show next. Hmmmmm.....I got it, how about a 110 style gold etch. Yep the 426 is the size of a 110, but, has a drop point blade. In 1985 there were three different variations of these issued, each variation had a different colored handle (Ebony 250, Black 500, Orange 250). This one is the Ebony handle version.
