The first variation only has brass, the second has steel, also the later versions and variations.

Man I really like those Redhead 922. I don't care for the stag handled ones you can buy, they just don't look right.
Those 922's are pretty similar to the Gen 5. Another great knife.

Lol Im just the opposite, been resisting the urge to get the stag one especially after fondling it at bass pro, it feels even better in hand.

for info. quite a find, Sir. I didnt know about all brass. that brass rubs me the right way for some reason. you got the eye for digging in the weeds and finding bucks. I'm assuming its digging in weeds.......
