The Sunday Picture Show... (7-8-2018) . . . (OLD Show look at the DATE...)

Happy SPS to one and all, hope the photos flow like water today! Thank you Armand who sets this up each week and all who post photos for all to enjoy.

Here is a set of 500 series knives the BCCI issued (I sure wish they would a 110 & 112 like these)

JB

Great Set, JB... Wake up BCCI and make a 112 and a 110... :)

This was a fun one to figure out. No, it is not Sasquatch. I'm looking for my notes and will update this when I find them. From memory, it is an Apollo mission space suit and the knife was for the company that did the life support system for the suits.

Thank You ITE for another Greatest Show, no matter what day. Lots of real great pictures of great knives today. For my part is an old picture of one of my best looking Buck knives. It is a 277 chicken foot with BOS blade. Bought it from an email I received after I missed out on another on the bay.

Buck model 180 CrossLock. This one is called the River Rafter. I guess the sheepsfoot blade is to help keep you from poking a hole in the raft :D. A fully serrated blade, how many other Buck knives had fully serrated blades? I think not many. There are plenty of half serrated blades.

The old Selector series had plain edge and fully serrated drop point blades.

OH, three knives and a .44. Where's this farm pond at, downtown Chicago?

Koss, Just the opposite of Chicago - middle of nowhere, back of the farm, and that is why you go prepared, especially when you roam alone. Rural area has feral dogs, feral hogs, coyote's, black bear, water moccasins plentiful around the pond, copperheads and rattlesnakes in the woods. I have hunted these woods and fields for years and seen them all. Of course the most dangerous thing is also the rarest, two legged animals up to no good (looking to steal farm equipment or trying to find a place to cook meth) - a prudent man is prepared for the worse while hoping for the best.
